So yesterday I went to the New Jersey bins, a new rotation came out and I stood by the shoes waiting for the go ahead to shop but of course too many people at the shoes and I didn’t see anything great, after the frenzy was over I walked over to the last bin and saw a pair of tapestry fabric block heeled pump I picked them up they were Sezane shoes! Posted then the same day for 130 in less than an hour I got an offer for 110 and I accepted the offer 🥰
May I ask where in NJ the bins are?
I started selling on Poshmark about 7 weeks ago. Two things that sold the same day, were a White House Black Market jumpsuit, and an Eloquii Elements gold printed top. The jumpsuit sold even though it was missing it's belt. Almost passed on buying either of them, and only paid two dollars each for them. I enjoy the format of this particular video. All of your videos are great, but this one was especially well done.

I tend to choose items that sell for more because it takes less time and effort to list one item vs. listing 3. So there are even more things to consider.

What I love most about you is your laid back authentic personality and style and I enjoy how that comes across in your other videos. No microphone, no fancy editing, no background music. Sells have been slow for sure but I get a good sell here and there. I recently sold a still available in the online store Garnet Hill linen patch work shift dress. This sold within 2 days of listing.

Great video! One formal wear that sells for me the next day (it's happened both times I found it and listed it) is Mac Duggal. I agree that most evening wear sits for a while, but Mac Duggal is still in high demand for those red-carpet moments! It also sells for $100+. One of mine sold for $125 and the most recent one sold for $200.
I went to the bins this past Tuesday and listed these 3 items Wednesday. In 2 days, a new style Lilly Pullitzer maxi dress sold for $65, and same day solds were a Peter Millar golf shirt for $35 and a Carhartt vintage jacket for $195 (sold within 10 minutes)!
What is "the bins"? I'm just starting out.
@@jenniferkeller7744 The Goodwill Outlet stores, nicknamed the "bins" because everything comes out in huge bins and you dig through and it is pay by the pound for clothing/shoes/etc.
Do you need to wash and steam iron the clothes for taking pictures?
Loved the format of this video! I can tell you guys put a lot of effort into filming and editing this. Well done! My favorite "bins" finds over the past 6 months were a Johnny Was blouse, Eileen Fisher silk maxi dress & Rothys leopard print new in the box! I still am pretty new to this and have so much to learn but thank you for you dedication to making these videos. You are certainly a leader in the reselling community!

I am a new reseller so I learn something to do or not to do everyday! What a learning curve, but I am determined that I can do this. I sold an Eileen Fisher Tunic Top an hour after I listed it. Loved this! I’ve had a couple same day sales recently that were huge morale boosters lol. I had a pair of vuori leggings that two people were offering on at the same time in less than an hour of listing so I sent them the same offers and whoever got to it fastest won lol. Then I had a Patagonia men’s sunshade crew sell in a couple hours of listing the other night! I love a quick sale almost just as much as a high profit sale!

@@MogiBeth yeah I was so excited when o found it. I actually send all my stuff to flyp and I have 2 Amazimh sellers that sell everything for me. Well I sent it to one of them and they actually didnt even have to wait for a buyer they already had a buyer because of a iso post on posh. So it was sold before it was even listed lol

I found a two piece Lily Pulitzer activewear set for $6 at my local thrift store. Since the pieces were different sizes, I listed them separately. I sold the top for $45 within an hour ($60 had been my asking price), and the pants sold full price for $65 after only 24 hours. I have definitely been trying to find more of that! I also found a 5.11 Tactical belt at the bins. It didn't sell for a ton, but it sold within 24 hours of listing!

Just made it to the end of the video, I listed a 90's long sleeve wedding dress and it sold in 7 minutes for $100. Long lace mutton sleeves were key, I believe!

Athleta sells so fast for me, especially the newer items that have the style name on the tag. I think a lot of resellers sleep on it since it's owned by the same company as Gap/Old Navy/Banana Republic, but it's very high quality, easily sourced, and has a very large following.
I want to thank you. I was watching another video recently and you were talking about Madewell. I honestly didn’t know about that brand. I walked into the Goodwill today and there was a pair of Madewell tennis shoes just sitting there, in amazing condition!! Immediately checked the comps, which you also taught me how to do and in the cart they went.

I grabbed a ton of swimsuits at Last Chance 80% off (amazing). I'm selling one at least every other day. What surprised me is BECCA is doing the best! I wish I had grabbed more BECCA suits, but in the past they have sat for a while and sold lower than what I wanted. For sure gonna reconsider grabbing her next time.

So glad I found you! This is a great source of information for a new seller like me! My fastest selling item was a Lilly Pulitzer dress. I purchased it for 9 dollars and sold it the same day I listed it for 38 dollars. It was in excellent condition but not new with tags. I didn’t expect that so I am on the lookout always for that particular print which seems to be the reason. I can’t remember the name but it was palm leaves in their signature pink and green. After watching this I’m going to go re evaluate my pricing! Thanks so much! Looking forward to more content!
