my parents had two tiny dogs that were also nearly fully blind and deaf before they left us. we just said goodbye to anya around christmas. i will be thinking of emma in her last months 🧡 i hope she is comfy and cozy and eats her favorite treats or smells her favorite smells.

I’m unfortunately contemplating moving back in with my parents short term to save money and pay off medical debt. So my birthday (end of October) and election season is going to be tough since they are ultra conservative in every way.
Love for Emma! I had a dog who was blind from age 10-17.5 years old. She did pretty great and learned how to navigate our home. She is loved and that’s the most important thing for her!

Regarding problems at work, it's a delicate balancing act. On the one hand, get out of toxic work environments. On the other hand, please try to not burn bridges. Even in a big city, chances are that hiring committees will know your former supervisor and might not hire you. Or, you might find yourself in a job interview that is run by someone who does know your former supervisor. Be discreet in quietly finding your next job. And, always say only positive things about your former employer. You never know who's listening. Keep up the awesome work. And, take care. \o

Expat Girl was in the wrong from the start by not telling Ruby she was going on a friends trip with Hans. Hans must really have the rizz, or I suspect is footing the bill, for Expat to even want to go on vacation with someone who ghosted her for 4 years. Even if Expat didn't try to hook Ruby up, I could see this coming out somehow and being a big blow to the friendship; like a scene in a stereotypical 'chick flick' about the end of a lifelong female friendship.

Idk the whole thing with the friends with Hans is weird- why would you go on a vacation with a guy while you have a boyfriend? when you KNOW Hans is interested in you. Unless he develops feelings for the friend, he'll ALWAYS be after you and it'll just come out on another drunken night
