Good review. Easy change only because of where the filter is, perhaps. Wouldn't it be nice if engines had some form of 'empty me' switch which pumped all the oil out through a pipe, rather than having to remove sump plugs, filters full of oil?
Prefer Stihl to be honest was never keen on John Deere s customer service and poor build quality, had bad experience with them over tractors in the past will never use them again but hey that's just me ,tho I love my 39 model A row crop tractor great old girl that just keeps popping away !!
Well that's a bit of a beast Adam. Looks very nice and I am sure you will have hours of fun with it. What a nice customer to spoil you. I think I could enjoy cutting the grass if I had one of those LOL. Great video as always
This sparked some old memories for me. In the early 70s, my dad worked for John Deere. He travelled all over Norfolk and East Anglia in his Vauxhall Ventora [what a beast that was] and trailer, usually with a couple of them loaded, selling their ride on mowers and mini tractors, mainly to caravan sites and landscapers, although the odd private person would indulge on occasions.
That machine is a beauty it's ashame petrol machines are a dying race in the gardening industry but it always does make me happy to see modern petrol machines still selling and people enjoying them, great vid as always 👍
@@NorfolkMancave to be honest, its an unnecessary addition, and actually more awkward. The current models across all years going back to the LTR have been standard spin offs, pair of filter pliers and you're away, most of the time this its a yearly service, I only ever do it hand tight, with ¼ turn after. Just more to go wrong, and filter prices will be a lot more!
