And that's how it's done! Simple and strong and no better way to run real gear for real rides. Do yourselves a favor and GET THE ADV BRACKETS while you're at it everyone, total gamechanger!
Not something I would want on my FXR, but i see the appeal. Frankly after seeing the final results, i wonder why that's not the frame Harley sold. Oh wait, your kit makes it look good and functional Harley can't have that.
Most Harley customers don't buy for function and would have hated the Ugly Glide ( FXRs were called that when they came out) even more than they did had HD not run chrome strut covers. I like the modification but not everyone wants an FXR bagger.
@@obfuscated3090 been riding Harleys for over 20 years now, and in that time I've learned how you can tell the difference between a rider and a poser. Anybody who doesn't agree that the FXR is the best handling big twin Harley ever put out is a poser. But seeing as how Harley has done away with the Dyna Glides oh, it is now just making full Baggers and Softails it looks like the posers have won. I spend more time on my rigid Shovelhead then on my FXR, but I know that fxr is hands down hey better design machine.
Joe gus, I must be a poser I've owned fxr's since 86, back when they couldn't give them away, they handle good but the new softail will out handle and run circles around a fxr
@@path3848 if you care about the resale of a bike you spent less than $4,000 on you have problems. And I don't know you, but I feel fairly safe in saying you probably are a poser.
We do this to add strength. FXR struts can and do break. We add these so we can bolt extra stuff to the outside and not mess with all the through bolts. It also gives you extra places to mount signals out of the way. Like most things, these are not for everyone. But if you are looking for an alternative to stock struts that do more than hold your fender this is it.
How do I buy your strut eliminator kit . Can’t pull up your website. Can u help me please love to buy your strut kit. Thanks Brad Waiting for a response can’t get your website at all

And make sure your never going to sell the bike later cause you just took a 4 or 5k dollar bike and cut the value in half

Do this to my FXR ? ! ! ummmmmm.. I don't think so.. !!! Not in this life time... But your idea and work are good..
personally, I'm all for improving my FXR.
I had no idea these even existed, lol. Very cool
