This looks pretty great! I'm just hoping it won't be as wide-open as BotW. For me, too many options means no interesting puzzles and no sense of progression. If it can nail that balance, this could easily be my favorite Zelda game!
This was a very important look at this game. It’s not going to be a traditional top down Zelda game but that’s ok because they showed off way more interesting stuff here than just the echoes. This is like Zelda but a bit more in the cozy games category while still having some semblance of combat. I’m actually very much looking forward to this game now!
I am very happy with the direction of this series going. I was sick of getting bow and arrow as dungeon item, or "kill all enemies in the room to open door" puzzles. Botw actually made me Zelda fan and totk perfected that. Before that it was "meh" Cannot wait angry Zelda fans calling this "full price dlc."
Honestly though, I miss getting a new tool/ability partway through a Zelda game that adds a new layer of complexity to how you interact with the world. BotW & TotK have given them out all at the start and I hope we can get more of a drip-feed again with EoW.
Had to come back one time to tell Kyle about game informer: "if only they had shown you who they were once before... If only some had told you so..." Kyle's behavior toward that company is why so many corporations get away with treating workers and customers like garbage.
Okay, Confucius. Try being out of work with a family to support, then have a company offer you a comfortable salary and benefits to come in from the cold, and then come tell all of us how principled you'd be in turning it down.

I really enjoy both, so I’m excited no matter what we get next! EoW looks great!
