- Granblue Fantasy Relink just released Lucilius and this is the hardest raid in Granblue Fantasy Relink. However, this Granblue Fantasy Relink Lucilius guide is going to walk you through all the mechanics of the Lucilius raid to make it easier for you to clear. Once you understand the knowledge checks and the Paradise Lost tech clearing Lucilius will be much easier and you can begin farming him!

Have you already got your 1st Lucilius clear and if so are there any tips for players that I missed in the video?
Side note: I apologize for the low quality in the B Roll at the end of the video. I had a run that showed what I was explaining but forgot to record so I had to pull if from my Playstation.
my advice is if you have 1-2 slot that you can swap out, find Flight over fight sigil and pair it with sigil that extend perfect dodge invincibility (like nimble onslaught,etc)
it will make learning this fight a lot more manageable (the more uptime will outweight sigil atk penalty and his dps check isnt that high anyway)

My advice is unless you have lots and lots of time just pass on it, cleared it about 8 times now but only 3 tear drops rewards just not worth the grind. The fight is fun once or twice but the thought of repeating over and over just for some more dps sigils I will play other games for now and expect tears to be paid item after seeing them already try to sell in game items with this patch

Just a clarification, the Paradise Lost casts (non-trials) are not DPS checks. You interrupt it with an SBA (solo is enough), Link attack or Break.
As a side note, I wouldn't sweat too much about max HP reduction. Basically all important attacks one shot you at 40k, so that's still a oneshot at 1 HP. I cleared for the first time with 1 HP Max 😂

Did it with AI on my second try, had them on SBA whenever not full burst and kept the boss locked down pretty well. Entered the DPS check with him at 6%
Won on my 1st fight with AI and it was so much better than clueless people. Might have to suffer a bit on the last part since you can't duo SBA but try it if you has had enough with failing online.
I just beat it on my second attempt right now
with AI allies you can just go give each party member (including yourself) 210+ stun
subsequent Paradise Lost charges after the second one (last labor) can also be disrupted/cancelled by Link Attacks
you can then pretty much let your AI go wild with their SBA procs whenever wherever

Outside of opening paradise lost being a tutorial and 12th labor requiring full burst all the other versions are not dps checks in a traditional sense. They want you to stun him or do a super and he will stop casting it. Even one super works
After the 12 Labours' Paradise Lost you can interrupt each additional cast of it with a single SBA. This will result in you never having to go through the attack except for the opening one.

My first clear was with my AI Team, I played my main (Lancelot Flight build) while having the big bang ranged Trio-DPS Eugen + Rackam + Io, I do recommend people going in with AI if they have them built probably, don't use any Stout Heart characters (Or Skills that grant that) on AI companions, and play whatever you're best at, it's a very intense fight.
DO NOT go in with AI that's not geared, they will fail, you'll have better chances with random matchmaking people.
Where do you unlock the raid to fight lucilius at
it's not necessary to stall out the paradise lost after the "12 Labours Paradise" since he has a massive defense buff and stalling won't really do much

My alpha sigil currently at lvl 14, it's a pain to upgrade since the Tears isn't guaranteed
Do you need 4 alpha?

just gonna say this, it's not worth the pain, unless you can auto somehow, the Tears/material drop rate is 1 out of 5 runs x1
you need x2 for +14. then x3 for +15
Why not just level to 14? Terminus' weapon trait, Sigil Booster, will add +1 to all sigils. Save your Mats. No point in getting 32/30 for Alpha Trait. UNLESS Sigil Booster doesn't apply to new Sigils.

edit - just an update my sigils is +16, so 15+1 you are correct I should have just stayed +14 since the final upgrade requires 3 Tears/mats

Is war element worth using against him?
no, he has no elemental weaknesses. there's no elemental dmg to boost since you're only dealing normal dmg to him

@@vDorgengoa Actually partly of what he said was incorrect. Yes the boss has no elemental weakness, however if you equip War Elemental sigil you'll find yourself doing more damage than when you don't have it on. You can test this with characters such as Zeta with whom you can easily see what her maxed damage numbers are. If you don't want to test it on the boss himself, you can simply test it on the element-neutral training dummy on the airship. Unequip War Elemental and you'll find your max hits lower than when you do have the sigil on.

So, you need sigils from the fight, for the fight. This fight is artificial difficulty. No weapon, the matchmaking bug is still around, and they created a problem and decided to sell the solution with the Flight over Fight sigil pack, because unless you're an Adderall fuel neckbeard you aren't dodging this bosses hits without it.
I did fight this boss solo and matchmake... and its not fun at all..
My Main Eugen.. but its not going to work.. like there is no way in the world you have time for sniper mode

Katalina is a little tricky as well in this fight since she can't facetank to keep Ares up nor dodge without losing Ares.
Io is the god of this fight
Io, Charlotta, Vane, Lance and Yoda are the only reliable characters for this fight.

The fucking Balls are the hardest part for me cause my Ai does nothing lol
its not impossible to beat lucillius even if you fail the 12 labor phase. on 1 of my run, i failed 2 out of 4 phase of 12 labor making my HP reduce to 50% for the rest of the fight, making every hits basically insta-kill. but it still very doable if you can dodge and block well after this phase.
ai all the way cleared 5 in a row, in coop can't do 1

Unfort end game loop decisions. Unfun yet cool fight to like play every now and then, coz tbh, I don't see myself beating him more than 3 times in a row, nah huh.
Unreasonable drop rates, Cygames are just stalling your time at this point and in a very bad way, imagine spending another 150hrs just to slot in more Dmg Cap and loose utility of secondaries. How are they even going to fix this? How many more bosses would they need to introduce to make those sigils even worth our time? Game was kinda dead, but this just pulled the trigger.

what does your team look like?
@Rocxidi oh use macro with lancelot build. focus on sba generation. mugen is a must, Caslio and Katharina. Your team will be at litterly 1 hp since you won't be do any mechanic what so ever. So no need for heal. focus on over mastery all your team with sba increase, atk and skill idealu 70% or more on crit. Need lot of atk since your auto might be cap but that won't be the case for ur ultimate. Don't bring heal , or anything cuz you can't heal. also auto revive is way better than gut.
@@randomoofkingstuff2174 do you set the macro to a specific fire rate? when i tested on protobaha i was still getting hit a lot even with flight over fight
@Rocxidi oh yea I do. But the most important is lock on and left click. go to setting in game change atk to left click. this will help you skip the 30 log time on the reward screen. I use razor macro, and have it on . left click and lock on button. if you want more macro for skill then make a separate one.
your heavy atk for lancelot is a dodge. so make sure you have the sigil that make your dodge a bit easier.
Doesn't seem like a fun fight at all Jesus Christ haha....I guess I'll just uninstall until the new characters come in April so for now Dragon's Dogma 2 BABY!!
I got on, beat him and i just can't see a reason to get back on the game. It just hits a wall at a certain point and in all honesty the game just dies. After you level the terminus weapons for the characters you want to play, the game is dead.
Fights pretty fun to me 🤷🏽♂️ new caps to put on my kata aswell I got something to farm for till the new characters games not dead just weeding out the weak 🧐
@@Raptchur what did you expect tho its a full released game like Monster Hunter that you can keep playing to farm and upgrade when your done with that the games point has been completed thats the point of the game

Just slap on fof with lancelot and watch the magic happen
