This and that comeback win in Cleveland to keep the 27 win streak alive are some of my favorite lebron regular season moments
Facts !!
Lebron was kinda in the wrong with the decision
@@MarlonTlebron was kinda in the wrong with the decision
@@dominiclowe3640course not that bum ass front office was sending lebron to the battle field with Sasha Palovic and Eric snow and Boobie Gibson as his front line…. Mans 3 best teammates were
Mo Williams,Larry Hughes, and Big Z lol (honorable mentions to Drew gooden and the corpses of Ben Wallace and Shaquille O’Neal) responding to disrespect with disrespect is only a problem when you’re typically a nice guy.
Both sides were wrong. LeBron was wrong for the way he handled it and the citizens of Cleveland were wrong for taking it so personally. I understand it, but still, it wasn't that serious. They should have been mad at their team's front office for not giving LeBron any good reason to stay.
For reals. People realize it as time went on seeing LeBron winning and having fun in Miami, While Cleveland struggled. James leaving really exposed a lot of truth about the Cleveland Cavaliers at the time.
And guess what? Both those statements by you are true💯
LeBron was not wrong 🤷🏾♂️
I think Dame handled it better
And Portland
It’s really crazy that Cleveland fans thought that he should stay. The biggest problem with LeBron being so good, that he could get a 19 win team to the finals or conference finals each year as the 1st-3rd seed is the fact that they won’t have any assets.
Cleveland were stuck in limbo were they could “challenge” for titles but they would always lose to the Celtics or whoever has a more complete team on the western conference.
The decision didn't help
@@dominiclowe3640I mean he should of left anyways, it’s just the way he left some people got mad
It was him leaving, then the ridiculous hour long "The decision" which had to be heart wrenching if you're a Cavs fan. He's one of the greatest players ever leaving in his prime. Of course the fans are going to be pissed. 🙄
and they didnt even try to trade up or nothin
It's so ironic that the Cavs fans hated LeBron James so much in 2011 and then humbled themselves and begged him to come back after Dan Gilbert fed them lies about how the Cavs would win a championship before the Miami Heat. The Cavs just got worse and worse every year LeBron was in Miami and we all remember the man with the "2014 come back" shirt and how LeBron said that it would be nice to play again for Cleveland in the post-game interview. The Cavs fandom had the biggest 180 turnaround ever.
More like the biggest bandwagoners ever
As a Heat fan, I cherish the years we had Bron. It was Prime Bron. I've seen fans be salty about it but those 4 years were a blast. I was there for that insane introduction party and I was there for game 7 vs the Spurs in 2013. Hell of a ride.
Yea ur weren’t a heat fan before lebron probably ain’t even from dade county 🤦♂️
Everyone’s a Heat fan now 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️💰
@moneyonfleek-8284 I'm curious if being a hateful person comes naturally or if there's a trigger moment for you during the day?
Honest question, thanks in advance for an honest answer.
@@moneyonfleek1992 why you makin shit up in your head to have reason to hate on other people, are you deluded or something
As a Spurs fan, I would like to not remember that series.....
The most hostile NBA crowd looks like an average wrestling crowd.
There’s a part of me that never forgave the Cleveland FO on how they’ve wasted their biggest star ever and especially Dan Gilbert on how he threw gas into the fire when LeBron left. But apart of me felt bad for Cavs fans. Cleveland for the longest time was a sad sports city, and LeBron was the closest thing they had to success in recent years, so I understood they felt betrayed. But still no excuse for this game tho, cuz that was very brutal
The decision did not help
What did the guardians(Indians at the time) in the 2000s?
We will never see someone close to him again in Cleveland sports, ever
KD going back to OKC and, funny enough, Kristaps Porzingis heading back to NY were two of the other loudest and vitriolic returns I’ve seen in the NBA
Ben Simmons' return to Philly was also pretty bad.
Ben Simmons back in Philly
Vince Carter back in Toronto
Sign that said “like father like son” is wild
Gotta embrace the hate, it’s real💕
The NBA scriptwriters were cooking that day.
As someone from Europe, when American crowds are brought up of being hostile, when there's no barrier, fence or line of security between the court and the fans, I always have a little bit of a chuckle.
I get that it's unique over there and thus memorable moment, but it always seems quite tame compared to South American or European experiences for sports. That level of animosity displayed feels like an average game over here.
I agree. I grew up in America, but I'm half Jamaican. So i'm aware of the International Vibe is the best and worst feeling, depending on the moment.
Watch some college football. The designated student sections far from the field keep them from turning most games into something more recognizable to foreign viewers. Especially in the south where about half of the State Police available are standing around the field and guarding the coaches.
So European sports fans are more angry and volatile? Is that really something to brag about?
@@alexandernelson945 yeah , american are soft , defense defense defense kkkkkkkkkkkkkk it's so funny, atmosphere is when spanoulis left panathinaikos for olympiakos ,
I mean they are just playing a sport, what the point in trying to commit felonies on mass?
I went to this game and I was 8 at the time, the security checked for profanity but that was all, I remember everyone yelling crazy shit, some people were throwing out slurs, my mom almost left the game early because she thought shit was going to pop off, but one thing I also remember is that Big Z, he got the absolute opposite of what LeBron got, everyone was cheering when his name was called.
Y'all keep up the work honestly best editing style on RUclips by far and y'all are funny and great matchup
The reaction to this was some of the most childish shit ever from so many grown people 😂
thats exactly why i didnt feel as bad for them as much as others did. someone compared it to if kobe left the lakers at their lowest (which he even threatened to do for a time). as a lakers fan i kinda see their point, but i still wouldnt burn my jerseys for no reason. they all acted like they wouldnt welcome james back with open arms if he wanted to, which they did 4 years later. a similar scenario was when garnett left the wolves for boston in 08. instead of getting angry, many t-wovles fans i know cheered when boston won because it meant that the only player who was giving minnesota a chance finally got his championship. the difference is that it's lebron, so of course the NBA has to prop up their golden child and make his off season "decision" a spectacle. i guess that changes things but idk; i feel like if kobe left the lakers, i'd still be happy if he won a ring without shaq
@@ghostflame9211 I think people were mad because they didn't realize that Lebron was making a sub-45-win team into a 60+ win team they thought that he was being a quitter and taking the "easy way out"
as a cavs fan who didn’t have fox sports as a kid this was one of my earliest memories as a cavs fan when i was 9 years old watching this on TNT and it was awesome
Cavs fan here. I’m just grateful he returned and got us a ring but man at the time u just can’t blame him for leaving we were an absolute train wreck and probably the reason he doesn’t have more rings. We never built around him in those mvp years from 2005-2010
I’ll never forget this game and the second time he went back in 2011 he skipped the player introductions
The greatest player ever gave that small-market incompetent front office 7 years whilst they gave him Daniel Gibson and Larry Hughes. Fans should've looked themselves in the mirror
Just imagine if he was blessed like Curry with a great front office and drafting ability. LeBron would have 6 by now if he had a Klay and Draymond
"The greatest player ever" shouldn't look like a total dick with his little tv special "the decision"
@@PHXNKVHXLICnope he chokes too much

They’re gonna need way more than 30 minutes lol
I miss Miami Heat LeBron and early 2010 Heat. But when he return to Cleveland, then won for Northeast Ohio.
I clicked on this thinking this was a video of when LeBron signed back with Cleveland🤦🏾😭 W video still‼️‼️ definitely should do a video on that topic as well
same
You should do a video about all the times Vince Carter played against the Raptors and completely traumatized the fans.
“Totally undeserved to hate lebron for wanting to go to a team to have a chance”
Why do people always try to justify being a bad teammate/ loser if the player is some fan favorite.
He deserved and deserves every bit of hate lebron gets.
Ima ashamed of how many people try to tear down lebron while he’s near 40, should be ashmamed I’m ashamed to be a basketball fan
This is the NBA version of the ECW one night stand crowd vs John Cena in 2006.
Later that year when Chris Bosh made his return to Toronto, when asked if that would be the most hostile environment he played in:
"No, Cleveland was. You had to be there for that one. I don’t know how many situations we’ll see similar to that one."
I’m super surprised that you guys didn’t mention Big Z in this entire video I get it’s about LeBron but I do remember them cheering when big Z touched the ball
It didn't come close to this either, but I'd argue Vince Carter's return to Toronto in 2005 was the 2nd most hostile return. Even more than KD to OKC
This is the first time I've been first to comment. :) I also love your channel keep up the amazing work.
Some video ideas!! “Greatest ring of all time?” And/ or “2010 era a rewind” and talk about all the politics. Love ur videos by the way! always have to get a meal ready before I watch
Agreed, especially the Lockout over a decade later
The thing with The Decision is that it completely broke the brains of Cleveland sports commentary. Theyre ultra paranoid of every single star player wanting to leave now. Id argue its the only reason the Donovan Mitchell to New York stuff has traction
That father like son sign was a low blow.
How has this channel only got 50k subs
Cleveland shoulda hosted the all star game in 2011 instead of 2021, can you imagine lebron being treated this way in an all star game in his home state. 😂
I love how "the most hostile crowd ever" in the NBA is less intense then a regular game crowd in Greece or Turkey
That’s not good…
I met someone who attended that game. He said it had a WWE atmosphere.
I like the signs say that they don’t need Lebron and the proceeded to get the 1st pick 3 outta 4 years he was gone
The 2016 video is going to go hard
Akron will never hate Bron, anybody there saying that is not from Akron
Yoooo, did you’ll see the “like father, like son” sign???💀💀💀
I think you guys should do videos on the best playoff series', like the 2009 Celtics vs Bulls and 2020 Nuggets vs Jazz.
Lebron had Prime Vince Mcmahon heat for this game😂
😂😂
That Promotion is Hilarious😂 Lebron is really Cleveland’s national treasure. I wonder what Pele has to say about him
That would've been an average game outside of the US though 😂
Minus the unathletic slow players, and the general inferior quality of basketball yeah of course
@@remulsive9558 talking about the crowd
3:51 "like father like son"nahhh
you guys should do a video on the orlando magic
The man gave them 7 years of relevant basketball when their franchise was hot garbage. And the best talent they could put around him was Ilgauskas and Mo Williams. Blame the front office. Staying would have been career suicide. Then even after all that, the man still came back 4 years later and won the city its first sports championship in 52 years. Crazy storyline.
The way the decision was done made lebron look like a egotistical dick
The audacity to have a sign that says "beg for mercy" 💀
As a Seattle Mariners fan I can't help but think of Alex Rodriguez.
LeBron needed out of Cleveland bro was the organization.
I remember that game and i was SOOOO glad Lebron destroyed the Cavs and the Heat won big just to prove how right he was to leave. Yeah he did it in a messed up way but leaving was absolutely the right choice given how terrible the Cavs built those teams around him during his first run there
I remember the crowd was chanting “Scottie Pippen” too
A free agent deciding to go to a new organization that actually wants to win? I think Cleveland of all places should understand that. As for Gibson: I’m friends with the best player in the nba, we play a child’s game to entertain big kids for millions, I can talk to the homie if I feel like it. We put our bodies on the line to entertain these plebs who don’t even understand the game well, if at all in most cases. They wanna be upset, cool. They wanna boo, cool. They wanna throw batteries and just make it uncomfortable for us to play, nah fuck them, I’m with bron 😂
bro in south america there have been game with literal pitch invadions trying to figth the players and then the oppositio crowds try to defend them it doesn't end well
If I was LeBron I would have never went back to Cleveland,he could have went to the warriors and won more Rings than baldylocks Jordan and got goat rights.
It helped his PR
The LeBum shirts are crazy
Ay but what are your guy’s thoughts on Toumani Camarra? I just went to a blazers game and the dude was a dawg on defense out there against SGA
Cleveland should be ashamed of themselves. Absolutely pathetic. Props to Lebron for being the way bigger man.
Being a resident and born and raised in Miami I hate how he brought so many bandwagons to Miami 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
The Crowd actually chanted Delonte at one point behind the scenes internet won't won't show that
LeBron shows no sign of physical decline even at the age of 38, which is truly amazing.
I was 12 years old when Lebron played for the Heat. I’m 22 now lol seems like it was just yesterday
Also when Lebron did the chalk toss Wally szczerbiak was in the crowd
I can't blame lebron for leaving cavs. That team was 💩. The one and only championship they had was with lebron lol. Also lebrons mentality is not weak. Thriving to that pressure and insults were goated.
Great video
10:07 - 10:15 Oh it was for me at the time! 🔥😂
Cleveland was just salty and Dan Gilbert wrote that letter too but I don’t blame bron for leaving the Cavs bc they never won anything and the teams were terrible but bron handled him leaving terribly with the decision
I remember I was so hype seeing this game cause of the Cleveland fans reaction, this draws similarity to John Cena vs RVD at One Night Stand 2006 and of course both Lebron James and John Cena are very similar and comparable to each other. Both polorizing, both trying to be the best in their respective fields, and importantly no matter what both John Cena and Lebron James do in a positive way, the fans will still boo them regardless. At least moving forward, the fans at least love and respect John Cena, for Lebron James? It’s a toss up imho. Once he did the Decision, his character has become a bit more arrogant and annoying that really piss fans off, from leaving when the going gets to join another team who looks good on his resume (him leaving the Heat to go back to the Cavs, leaving the Cavs to go to the Lakers). Also, him making decisions to the front office to make the team better aka LeGM, and Lebron so called calling himself the King, last time I check his finals record is what, 4-6 or something? I know he won 4 titles but I forgot how many he loss LOL, also everytime he breaks a record, his team loses LMAO.
What a way to say all of that with that long ass goofy paragraph without context, but what do you expect from lebron haters, they're the masters of ignoring context. 🤡
Sometimes I think what players forget is that when you’re ending your career with a team on bad terms you’re not just leaving the organization but also the people of the city itself and that can hurt them. People grow attached especially if they really really love the team. I live in San Antonio and that’s pretty much what happened with Kawhi. You can say the fans go overboard with the hate but people here really did adore him and he hurt them. So I completely understand the people of Cleveland’s reaction to Lebron’s return
It's a kids game lmao they'll get over it
You gotta appreciate them while they’re playing a get a year or two of hate but the man won you a title as a main contributor shouldn’t boo him to hell every game
He then returned and brought Cleveland their first ever chip, that chip was definitely the greatest one ever
You’re a prince in wade county is a banger tho
the only superstars we have that have so much love as lebron in todays game is steph i cant imagine as warrior fan myself steph join i dont know team like boston
Lmao i was there it was crazy!
Man I wish I was a fan when this was happening
Honestly the biggest thing in all of this is that Cleveland fans should’ve really been mad at their crappy ass front office for wasting 7 years of his career. Honestly they should be happy Lebron loved Cleveland so much he went back and actually won a championship for that city
LeBron had it coming, after the decision.
He waited so long into free agency to announce his decision, that the cavs couldn't attempt to replace him.
It set them up to be horrible the first season he was away.
I don't agree with throwing anything to try and hurt him, but the jeers and heckling was all fair game.
I thought you meant his 2014 return to cavs
cleveland never deserved lebron
Free agency is free. Cleveland in hindsight deserved it for how they treated that man. From that wierd letter dan gilbert wrote to literally burning the mans jersey in piles. You dont own him.
Only atmosphere that came close imo was vince carter returning to toronto
no one ever discusses the toll it must take to carry a league, and your hometown team. fuck, imagine the hands out everywhere he looked. Miami sounds nice
Chanting Scottie Pippen is hilarious nawww that pisses him off no doubt💀💀💀
Stuff like this is why I say most nba fans are clowns considering when lebron came back they acted like nothing had changed
You really coulnd't have waited for 1 day to upload this, huh?
I remember when Dan Gilbert said in a letter that he guaranteed that the Cavs will win a championship before LeBron does.....
Well the Cavs did won one championship and it was in 2016 with LeBron (by that time already won 2 rings with the Heat prior to his return) in a dramatic come back from 1-3 deficit against the Warriors as we all know.
And then the fans that booed LeBron had forgiven him after returning and winning their 1st and only title, thus this time everytime he returns to Cleveland, this time as a Laker, the fans shows a complete opposite since this time they are grateful.
No, the "Scottie Pippen" chant was them calling Lebron the BIGGEST QUITTER IN THE HISTORY OF THE NBA, referring to Pippen refusing to enter the game against the Knicks in the final seconds of that infamous 1994 playoff contest.
Yeah man it's cute. Now check out the crowd at a Euroleague derby and evaluate the differences between them. This crowd just seems a bit angry but nothing too hostile in comparison.
i'll rank these elite players in this EXACT order #1 shaquille o'neal #2 nate thurmond #3 walt frazier #4 lenny wilkens #5 gary payton #6 alonzo mourning #7 lebron james and #8 dwayne wade
Everyone forgets that Cleveland has always been a losing franchise. You gotta get away from losers as fast as possible
The Akron Hates you chants was cap
Genuinely I think that if lebron didn’t announce his decision in such the most self aggrandizing way possible and didn’t promise 7 rings we wouldn’t have hated him for it. Also i didn’t have a problem with his decision unlike KD because Miami wasn’t considered a super team before he came while the 2016 warriors were one win away from being in the GOAT team conversation

Do you think we'll see a similar reaction when Ohtani returns to Anaheim?
There should've been, but I don't know if they reacted that way. If he is not named Shohei Ohtani though, he too would be look at in the same light as LeBron and being easily the most hated player in baseball too. He went to the most stacked team in baseball, made it even more stacked and unfair with his ridiculous contract, and then went and recruited the other best and most coveted Japanese player on the market behind himself on another insane contract. Personally, I don't think that would've ever flown with anybody if The Decision wasn't a thing. Blue Jays fans I'm pretty sure hate Ohtani though, since they got deceived.
Like father, like son is WILD 💀
I Like the NBA, but „the Most hated player in the world.“ is such an American Thing to say.
Maybe the Most hated in the US, but believe me 80% of the World doesn‘t give a shit about US Sports Leagues. :D
