Since Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has now sold 52 million, it makes sense to make dlc instead of making people buy a new game. Silokhawk also did great reviews for the booster course pass dlc. I see how they improved the textures after watching gameplay.
These 3 city courses are the best of the pass yet. So scenic and distinct and challenging yet fun. The only one I'm slightly disappointed by is Riverside Park. It has the Sky Garden problem of being shortened from the original layout. I'd be in love with both of them if they had the same layout as they did originally :( Absolutely love the Ptooies and waterfall cave though 👍
A subtle issue with Waluigi Stadium is how much wider they made that track. Honestly this is an issue Mario Kart 8 has a whole, but the extra wide roads really do a disservice to how the original tracks felt. You can really feel it on most double dash remakes as double dash wasn't afraid to have skinny roads.
I agree that Amsterdam Drift was underwhelming, but I don't know, Bangkok Rush has a lot going for it in terms of visual variety. I love that it takes place at sunset, I love how you drive across the tiny river, I love going through the railway market, I love bouncing on the tents in the ratchada, and I especially love gliding into the Giant Swing. Singapore Speedway is definitely the better track, though, and Yoshi's Island is a wonderful love letter to that classic game. If you want my ranking of best to worst, it goes Yoshi's Island, Singapore Speedway, Mario Circuit, Riverside Park, Bangkok Rush, DK Summit, Waluigi Stadium, and Amsterdam Drift.
2 Complaints about DK Summit: They removed the Mii head on the wooden statue in this version when you play as a Mii. The scenery when you go through the cannon is kinda boring along with the general environments looking a little bland.
Idk, all those aspects seem like very minor losses to what's otherwise an excellent track. The boat section is still about as satisfying and the tuk-tuks really don't add too much as an obstacles. It would've been nice if they kept the piranha plants, I'll admit, but I usually go up the rail station anyway. Lol

Then start preparing😊
Really happy that we finally got a Double Dash course lol. Hope we get more, and this wave overall was just a banger.

The fact that you ranked Waluigi Stadium, Riverside Park, and Mario Circuit higher than all the amazing tour tracks. 😂

Dont stop making videos man. You truly are a top tier youtuber. You're just so fun to watch and you don't even need any gimmics.
8:27 that's been happening even before the booster course pass dlc with cheese land and ribbon road
But still great video

Bangkok definitely worse than Amsterdam
Said no one.
2:55 Anyone else get major Eyetoy vibes?
I really hate how they remade bangkok rush. It was really good in tour, but the 8 remake RUINED everything about ir
Elaborate.
@@RyansChannel0203 they removed every almost every single obstacle it had that made it good
The tuk-tuks, inky piranha plants, half of the boats...

thank you independent jacob
Wolf shirt!
Hiiiii Jacob 😊😊
tour tracks are so underrated. and imo yoshi's island is too short and simple for its own good. its a track where nothing happens
