Hi Missy, so many people (myself included) have been offended by the recent public comments regarding being childless. They have triggered wounds that bring up grief, shame of feeling inadequate and not belonging. Being asked all the time if you are married/have children when meeting people with various looks and responses are difficult enough. So would you create a video on this topic? Thank you 🙏

Hey Stacey, I’m sorry about how the public has made you feel. I’d love to cover the topic! What are you looking for in regards to that topic? How to handle when they do that?

@@MissyTheLifeHelper Thank you for addressing this topic! I feel it is about time that this is getting out there, as it has been a silent issue that is uncomfortable for many to talk about and yet more adults then ever are living this reality. Although this subject can apply to child free by choice, I feel that the childless by circumstance has been having a more difficult time with the current events, society’s judgement, not to mention the intentional and unintentional exclusion by friends/groups that have children, the awkwardness even with social media, all while feeling we have to keep our status/grief in check when we are missing out on so many “normal” milestones in life, celebrations, connection with own child, etc. Trying to find contentment in everyday life is hard enough when you already feel like you have to find a way to have purpose, be lonely many times and ready for a potential advanced age without family. Well, you get the picture! I trust that you will find a perfect way to discuss this subject. Your way of explaining feelings and care beliefs to help put the pieces together and give realistic applicable guidance is truly inspiring.
