- I don't think these were taken during the same time period. The Harrisburg scene look later (probably mid 60s). The Horseshoe Curve sequence is probably closer to 1960 or perhaps late 50s.
0:00 - Susquehanna River Bridge and Lemo Tower (the only electrified diamond crossing on the PRR)
1:05 - Non-stop action at the south end of Rockville bridge
8:04 - Horseshoe Curve
Awesome footage of era many consider most interesting, very enjoyable look back
Another great video, Thanks from Germany
Thank you! i always enjoy seeing videos of PRR trains - especially passenger trains with their variety of both head end and passenger carrying equipment. I could have spent many hours watching trains at Horseshoe Curve back in that time period!
12:50 That steam locomotive is currently at the Railroaders Memorial Museum roundhouse being restored to operation. Once the restoration is complete, it will travel across Pennsylvania and possibly beyond.
I was enjoying this when at 15:25 Schoolhouse Rock's "Conjunction Junction" popped into my head!😅
WOW!!!
the project sound adds nothing but annoyance must mute sound not.
