Thanks for that. Looking forward to future videos. Is that grass the golf course fairway or the “rough”. 😊.

Hello, it's Alan from Maidstone. I'm just back from a hard ride on the North Downs. I've recently bought a Specialized Allez which is my first road bike in decades of riding hybrid bicycles. At 68 I think I'm lucky to be able to do this. I'm looking forward to your workshop videos

Alan, I didn't have a road bike for a long time either. Decades as well. It changed the whole picture for me starting last summer. Brings out my best including for condition at 60. Even compared to myself at 18 or 20. But my hybrid is very useful to me also.

If people aren't willing to think about what you're saying and at least some of the time make thoughtful remarks back, then chasing them for viewership, like with short clip videos, would be a folly. I agree about the natural spaces of course. I hate to see the constant and mindless housing development here. This one place they were putting up about 1.5 miles away as "luxury apartments" of some kind got halfway finished, then they found something out of whack with it, let it sit for six months, then started demolishing it. So it's been a mess there for a long while. I'd like to hear more about the bike trails around there or just cool places to be on a bike there. I had a great long ride this morning up and down the hills on my road bike. It was super weather starting out in the nice cool time before six am.
