  • Chicken of the Woods is one of the easiest to identify wild edible mushrooms which has no toxic look-alikes and which can be found world-wide from spring to fall. It also has a very unique hearty chicken-like taste when cooked properly which is unlike any other mushroom. In this video I collect one from a local park and then cook and eat it on camera.

Great information bro, I appreciate it. I absolutely hate mushrooms. Like the typical ones you find at supermarkets. You think this will taste good for someone who hates mushrooms?

I mean it's definitely nothing like a normal mushroom so if it's the taste or texture that bothers you it might, worth trying anyways right?

it really is all down to how you prepare em, i thought i hated brussel sprouts but thats because all i would do is boil em. these would definitely go well if cooked with some yummy spices and unburnt oil- if you season your shrooms good and have a nice side dish, you got it.
