I kept mine. No regrets. The lack of an extra MG isn't too great a handicap. But 35k per day for just a rank III plane is fucking ridiculous. Even the rank IV IS-2 No. 321 was only 20k per day
It's funny because every time I say it's asking alot there's 1 or 2 people coming in saying they can do it in an hour which is also funny because they then try to prove they also have a life without you stating otherwise which says alot.
I'm lovin' this thing in air arcade! I got 9 kills and "Terror of the sky" in my first match in it! even with one less machine gun it doesn't feel like there's any lack of firepower, but 35k per stage is a little too much, I actually missed most of the stages so I went and bought out each stage, I'd say the fun factor is high especially if you enjoy the tech tree Yak-3 and you'll efficiently grind all your Russian props with it but anything beyond that is a real slog, if you can get this thing for a decent price on the marketplace then I'd say definitely get it.
Love the plane, great to have 2 yak 3s in the line up.dont notice the missing gun at all, just wished I'd got it off the Marketplace. Never thought it would be going for only 12 GJN. Grind was painful.
I got it, but to get it meant flying jets ( Tornadoes in my case) and these days I'm sooo prop fighter rusty it my seem worse then it actually is. I'm enjoying flying out with huge groups of these things, kinda historical feeling. The weak structure was a historical feature. The grind was a shit experience but it will stop spamming and keep it rare ish.
This time i rested well and didnt grind for it (altough i needed some plane like this to start the grind for MIG-29) and i heard that the new event vehicle wont be a ship but a ground vehicle! I guess i wont sleep the next 2-3 weeks :D
Honestly I play mojirity of tank. Air and naval battles are more of a chore, rather than fun. Needless it say, I was overjoyed, as it meant I can take a break from tank event vehicles l. 😅😅
Yep thats why i dont bother with any of them. Its enough for me to do the daily battle tasks to get pissed off, 35k a day would be instant burn out for me.
Thats a fair point and when I started out, I couldn't be assed to do the previous event before this. but... would you rather have 35k which can be done in two days, one day top, if you're Hardcore player? Or have the Foghter be locked behind a crafting event?
tankenstein.... look you judge the the yak 3 wrong. yak 3 is a medium altitude fighter that can turn as good as the zeros.. soviet pilots love love those planes and the canons .. cause they use then on the tail of the enemy planes and they did not try to snipe them.. + thats the reason they loved and the P63.. yak 3 is amazing airplane..and the airplane that gave me my first jet kills at 6+ brs.. on ground realistic.. (the french one) and i love it as a plane.. so much.. the rip speed is the same and for the zeros ... that can climb well too. is the light airplanes are weaker than the most robust American or German planes
I would have grinded this myself just for the working gramophone tank decoration that plays music. But no one told me it actually played music until after it was too late to grind. I found out from Zenturions video. I wish he’d told us at the beginning of the event and not at the end.
lol before I started grinding the event I was like “hmm let’s see what those are shall we :) “ and noticed that the gramophone has an animation and sound which made me go “aw that’s cute imma grind this” now I make like 200k sl every 3 hours thanks to the yak3. The yak3 being a premium brought my attention to the event in the first place tho

Same. It was a reason to grind air and I had fun. Went through the 4.0+ BF 109s. Grinded the harrier for GB
Yeah i heard people says it sucks and don't grind it but i went from 50k SL to 500K SL in only two days lol
