Yea, I cringe a bit at the price of premiums lately and they give premium bonuses ontop of getting a vehicle that's normally more powerful than thier tech tree counterparts. However, its still a digital single vehicle at the end of the day that can be subjected to change by gaijins horrible balancing whims. So getting an event at these prices is beyond me
Disagree. These items are, in essence, collectibles. Collectibles, especially popular/limited ones, often carry a high value and often sell for substantially more when listed on auction. Nothing new or crazy here at all. I criticize Gaijin for a lot, but this isn't a questionable practice. It's smart business to make something desirable and then find a way to auction it to further enhance its earnings potential.
Honestly if I had the kind of disposable income I could guiltlessly spend on any of these, before that I'd probably get nice models of the tank, boat or plane I like, build, paint and display it in a nice room with the confidence they will not disappear the second some game stops being profitable.
A great tip is to check the marketplace during events such as Summer, Winter, and April Fools as the addition of the Silver Lions Crates ends up lowering the price on alot of the vehicles and items. This past winter I got both the P-40C and Ki21 hei both for 10 dollars each and the Fw 190C for only 33 dollars.
The Boston and DB-7 are slightly different versions of the Havoc, albeit 0.3 higher in Air RB. The Havoc is a seal clubbers dream - bomber spawn, goes and turns like a fighter, decent armament, and has bombs for when you get bored of picking off other bombers.
USS Newport news is an absolute steal rn for $26 compare that to the $60 des moines, the only downside is the AA and the reward income from the des Moines, either way both ship absolutely shreds naval matches and is by far the most annoying to face against if you dont like getting spammed 8inch shell

the vast majority of the offers on more expensive vehicles are done by skin creators, as they get a cut of the market for the skin giving them often, nearly endless gjn, and the rest of the offers are likely those who sold event vehicles over the years to save up for a rare tank, as with some of the older events you could easily get 2+ of the top prize.
TURMST does the same exact job and it's a premium. Better placed ERA doesn't cut it for me, as you'll die to APFSDS anyway and TURMST has enough ERA to stop ATGMS in most cases. 20MM cannon is nice but not really practical and Tapna-U is not that big of an upgrade for the round as you'll shoot the same spots anyway
T-72M2 is expensive because the event for it was harder and misunderstood before they exposed the mission score counter + it's Czech or Slovakian + it's really cool with 30mm from the BMP-2
I traded my obj 279, didn't like it probably lost $350 dollars on its current valuation lol. What made part of the trade even worse is that I picked up a Merkava mk II (US-Tree) just before the Israeli tech-tree came out making them as common as all hell.
Martlet MK.IV is an absolute beast in Ground RB, since iirc it is the only plane around the br (2.7) in the British tech tree that gets .50 cals. It's able to penetrate more or less every tank it comes across going top down.
The KV-2 (1940) is in the German tree as well as a premium. I have like half of all the event + all BP vehicles that's available on the market, but only use like 6 of them. I mean the AGS keeps going up in BR every time it gets a new shell, and now i not just no longer have a lineup to it, the better ammo doesn't even makes a difference to the vehicle! Not worth to add to my line! High altitude interceptors like the J6K has no role in the game since nobody flys high enough where it could use its performance advantage otherwise flys like a bus! Most naval ships has a tech-tree sister (now that's were i have most rewards, even sold a few), so u rarely miss out on something unique. The only 2 i regret not suffering for is: AU-1, and the PAK Puma, and maybe the Kfir but when i was about to buy it, someone leaked that it will get a new AAM and the price went up from 50 to 140 in a day! FUCK YOU, GUYS!
F4D-1 got its wings problems fixed like 2 updates ago. BUT you have to be careful how to research it, because at mid spade and without the wing and structural reinforcement you will rip your wings again. Stock or fully spaded I havent ripped my wings once even at 8g turns. Another con, fully spaded is stupidly expensive to repair (11-15 K silver lions). Also my face when I bought my USA merkava for 16 dollars like 2 years ago.
F4D-1 though cant turn for shit above (iirc its) 415mph, anything below that its a god, anything above that and you'd best be taking a B-17 to dogfight
Hmmm weird, I classify it as a B+ almost A class fighter for its br. The machine guns rip everything without any problems. Usually get 2-3 kills with it every time I use it.
@@Vermilionleader thats if they hit though, the *stock* the bullet dispersion is so bad its literally as bad, if not worse, than the 45mil on the Yak-9T when constantly firing And the Missiles are AIM-9Bs so they're is accuracy to be desired. It is a good plane when you play exactly to its strengths though I wont lie.
the the TIS MA was fantastic when it was one of the only cannon ground pounders... then you had the battlepass Su-8 which was slower and less maneuverable, but you had an extra set of 45mm cannons, and the option of bombs AND rockets, and now you have the Premium Tu-1(which IRL was a heavy fighter) gives you two 45s and two 23s as well as the Tu-2s bomb load, kinda making the TIS MA obsolete by this point... as someone who owns all of those planes (and loves them all equally) the Tu-1 would be the best in terms of accessibility but personally i would take the Su-8 for the extra firepower...
I really want the 279 but don’t want to spend the money and will probably never get it which it sad as it’s a very interesting tank history wise. I wish they would make a way to get these passively over time kinda like the mous or squadron vehicles. Make the rp cost insane like 2 million or something but at least it would give people a chance to eventually get these vehicles that are just sitting there. I was super close to getting the 279 but my brother broke his leg and now I won’t ever have a chance at getting it.
SU-85A is great if you're tired of getting killed by KV-1Bs at 4.0. IMO $25 isn't the worst, it IS a premium. And due to the nature of WT's damage model, it's surprisingly survivable (as long as your enemies don't use HE on you). That 85mm gun at 4.0 is crazy good. I grinded it in 2019 because I was tired of the KV-1B spam - ignored the T30 for it. Have to say, it really didn't disappoint me.
I wanted to hear your thoughts on the T-10A, personally my favorite heavy tank alongside the M6A1 and IS-4, but it was missing from the market again. I bought it for 22 bucks I believe and it was at the time when I wanted the IS-7 badly but obviously couldn’t afford it, and I had recently learned a lot about the T-10 and how it basically was a discount IS-7 so I bought it since it was cheap. At first I hated it because you couldn’t actually use it as a heavy (shocking), but once you used your insane mobility and short stab, you could flank the entire team and one by one knock them out. Besides flanking, I mainly use the mindset that it’s mainly just a long range TD that has extra armor to sometimes stop shells in downtiers so I don’t get cocky, and I end up usually with 6-8 kills on average. It’s a really fun heavy that makes a lot of SL and research thanks to it being a “premium”, but now it’s like 50-60 dollars on average. Im still really glad I got it when it was cheap.

Along with the fact that the T-10A is smaller and has a faster reload, I think it’s worth sacrificing the extreme armor for these benefits. I just hope I get the chance to get the Japanese Tiger for under $70. I’ve ground out almost the entire Japanese tree (besides naval) and I’ve always wanted the Heavy Tank No.6. Why? Idk. I just want it. I also really want the Filipino Peashooter. You can probably guess why.
I sold my Vilkas for like 20 bucks and my J26 David (Sweedish P51) for around 28 and I used the money to get the F2G-1 Super Corsair and some left over money to buy the battle pass from which I got 10 days of premium time, and the Strikemaster jet along with all the other rewards I hadn't collected. Edit: I got a good deal on the F2G, I got it after putting in an offer for 27.47, However it's important to note Gajin takes a huge cut of the money you sell stuff for, so even though I didn't need to sell my Vilkas as the P51 technically would cover the cost of the F2G, I actually only got around 24 bucks from selling the J26 for 28.
Just some small corrections : ) The Elefent isn't an up armored Ferdinan it just has a hull MG and a commanders cupola. The VK.45.01 isn't the slowest tiger by far and has some of the best mobility for the series
A-1H I would say is worth much more due to it basically being a Lower tier A-10. It has the agility to customize the loadout and it can get 3x 2000 Ib bombs and a lot of explosives and guns for a fun time in 6.7 BR
I wish console could get the market place. I'm perfectly okay without most if not all of the vehicles but I would LOVE to buy camos. Specifically that just all gold bar Maus
Cool video! My comments: 1. A1-H is BEST CAS plane in grame imho. 2. BT-7A (F-32) One of the best light tanks at rank 2, really fast. 3. Bf-109 F-4: You can use this for CAS, either one 250kg or 4x50g (my fav) loadout.
To all people that have the Event Mirage, hold it for a while. This thing will definitely rise in price. Even after a few days it has risen from 20 GJN to 25 GJN.
It's a good plane imho, got it and the event jaguar, I use them in air arcade and the air assault arcade game mode, just to grind France cuz I don't really enjoy prop planes aside from naval
T30 is massively underrated. Once you learn to just use the HE and how to work with the 30 sec reload is great. I consistently get 6 or so kills a match with it and sometimes more.
I usually buy the vehicles on the marketplace right after they come out so I can get a jet for 15-25 bucks. I bought the F4D for 16 USD, I think it's like 36 USD now. Although I use them not resell them so that doesn't help me much as far as my gaijin wallet goes.
I don't agree with you on the BI. It's absolutely cracked at 6.7 and allows you to out energy almost anything it faces even in a full uptier. I was stupid enough to sell it after I unlocked it. The ShVaks were trash when it came out but they're a lot better now making this plane one of the most OP in the game. Just don't go past 700kph, maintain 30% throttle once you reach 4000-5000 meters to conserve fuel and you can dance around even super props with very little trouble. It's as effective as the Me 163 but at a much lower BR and worth at least 100 GJN
Bought the HE 162 A-1 for 109 bucks or so when it came out. hell overpriced, but i love early jets. best purchase i ever did. not only is it hella rare and expensive now, i have over 22k kills with it. i love that thing so much
A lot of these vehicles you used to be able to purchase them for GE for much cheaper (P-59, Tiger No. 6, Iron Duke, T-V) which makes their value even lower. Plus, the ones that aren't even premium? Unless you're done with a tech tree, why the hell would you want to buy what is essentially a premium tank that you then have to buy a talisman for separately?
the AGS and EBR76 are both really good grinders, ive made millions and millions of sl and rp with both. the pt76-57 is also good though not worth the money imo. Oh yeah BMD4 also excellent grinder, almost forgot.

As someone who owns kurama, it's in no way worth it, it gets up teir 99% the time to 7.0, would be better if it went to 5.7 with the other pre dreadnought. Newsporter is a great ship to pick up, think of it as a Des monise with not AA, but great secondary that can use for AA. Edit: If you want to grind wagers or doing events that require you to grind naval bp or events, get the BF109-F4 Italian. Its great when paired with the Geneire.
0:39 Yeah because you ALSO have players who live in $400,000 a year salary homes. They play war thunder. And $2K to THEM is merely $20. So they don't even CARE about what the price is. the only thing i ever considered buying was the TIS MA but i waited to long and it went up to 60 bucks and got nerfed. now its 90 bucks and its definitely no longer worth it.
I was super lucky to get the VK45.01 (P), USSR p63-c-5 (from the same winter event as the VK) and insanely lucky to get the AGS from the snowmen lootboxes. I also got the tornado IDS, but I already have that one, so I got a coupon for it to sell. I spent 5 million SL but i got 3 of the vehicles within 2 million, then it took 3 more million to get the tornado. I hate the market prices. Some of the coolest unique vehicles are locked away to most players.
The only tank I want on that list is the C2A1!! I missed getting it as an unlock as I was away for training than got scamed from gaijin from the loot crate.. I wish I could just purchase it but I play console
I have the Ki-94-II and its alright, decent dive speed and pretty good cannons, but if i had to choose between using it or my j6k1.. i'd prefer the j6k1.
I got the vfw a while back in a crate and can 100% it’s not worth it. Garbage mobility, garbage depression, and your a giant open top. If you like getting one kill then getting machined gunned to death by planes or even just other tanks then this is the vehicle for you.
question. now that hull break is gone is the Class 3 once again immune to damage? dont know if you remember but the Class 3 use to be unkillable when it first released for like a week before they gave it hull break and completely killed the tank.

The CT-CV 105 is the exact same BR as the CV 90105 pack premium and make an excellent fast, 105mm auto loader lineup for Sweden at 10.3.

I have the T72M2. When i learned its around +250$ i was shocked. Understandable since its one of the most modern T72's in game after the B3

I sold my Vilkas for like 20 bucks and my J26 David (Sweedish P51) for around 28 and I used the money to get the F2G-1 Super Corsair and some left over money to buy the battle pass from which I got 10 days of premium time, and the Strikemaster jet along with all the other rewards I hadn't collected.
Edit: I got a good deal on the F2G, I got it after putting in an offer for 27.47, However it's important to note Gajin takes a huge cut of the money you sell stuff for, so even though I didn't need to sell my Vilkas as the P51 technically would cover the cost of the F2G, I actually only got around 24 bucks from selling the J26 for 28.
I got the f2g1 for 13 bucks, it was a great purchase imho.

The Elefent isn't an up armored Ferdinan it just has a hull MG and a commanders cupola.
The VK.45.01 isn't the slowest tiger by far and has some of the best mobility for the series
Also you can get the Lvt (Zis-5) for free in the Chinese tech tree and the Hawk 75 in the French and American trees (P-36 and H-75)
A-1H I would say is worth much more due to it basically being a Lower tier A-10. It has the agility to customize the loadout and it can get 3x 2000 Ib bombs and a lot of explosives and guns for a fun time in 6.7 BR
I wish console could get the market place. I'm perfectly okay without most if not all of the vehicles but I would LOVE to buy camos. Specifically that just all gold bar Maus
Cool video! My comments: 1. A1-H is BEST CAS plane in grame imho. 2. BT-7A (F-32) One of the best light tanks at rank 2, really fast. 3. Bf-109 F-4: You can use this for CAS, either one 250kg or 4x50g (my fav) loadout.
To all people that have the Event Mirage, hold it for a while. This thing will definitely rise in price. Even after a few days it has risen from 20 GJN to 25 GJN.
It's a good plane imho, got it and the event jaguar, I use them in air arcade and the air assault arcade game mode, just to grind France cuz I don't really enjoy prop planes aside from naval

T30 is massively underrated. Once you learn to just use the HE and how to work with the 30 sec reload is great. I consistently get 6 or so kills a match with it and sometimes more.

I have 6 F2G-1s and 2 PT-76-57s in my inventory. I've sold a few F2Gs last sale to cover the cost of my J35XS.
I usually buy the vehicles on the marketplace right after they come out so I can get a jet for 15-25 bucks. I bought the F4D for 16 USD, I think it's like 36 USD now. Although I use them not resell them so that doesn't help me much as far as my gaijin wallet goes.
I don't agree with you on the BI. It's absolutely cracked at 6.7 and allows you to out energy almost anything it faces even in a full uptier. I was stupid enough to sell it after I unlocked it. The ShVaks were trash when it came out but they're a lot better now making this plane one of the most OP in the game. Just don't go past 700kph, maintain 30% throttle once you reach 4000-5000 meters to conserve fuel and you can dance around even super props with very little trouble. It's as effective as the Me 163 but at a much lower BR and worth at least 100 GJN

A lot of these vehicles you used to be able to purchase them for GE for much cheaper (P-59, Tiger No. 6, Iron Duke, T-V) which makes their value even lower. Plus, the ones that aren't even premium? Unless you're done with a tech tree, why the hell would you want to buy what is essentially a premium tank that you then have to buy a talisman for separately?

the AGS and EBR76 are both really good grinders, ive made millions and millions of sl and rp with both.
the pt76-57 is also good though not worth the money imo.

Newsporter is a great ship to pick up, think of it as a Des monise with not AA, but great secondary that can use for AA.
Edit: If you want to grind wagers or doing events that require you to grind naval bp or events, get the BF109-F4 Italian. Its great when paired with the Geneire.

Yeah because you ALSO have players who live in $400,000 a year salary homes. They play war thunder. And $2K to THEM is merely $20.
So they don't even CARE about what the price is. They just want the vehicle. Buying it is like one of us getting a getting a meal at a decent mom and pop food joint. It's NOTHING to them. There are THOUSANDS of players on that pay bracket. They dont care one bit.
Great video though I have to add that the Kfir C.2 gets 2 Pythons which at it's BR are pretty good. If only these vehicles were all $100 and below, it would be so much more accessible to everyone.

The Japanese bought one Tiger from Germany but when they where ready to ship shipping was to dangerous so it never was send to Japan.

I was super lucky to get the VK45.01 (P), USSR p63-c-5 (from the same winter event as the VK) and insanely lucky to get the AGS from the snowmen lootboxes. I also got the tornado IDS, but I already have that one, so I got a coupon for it to sell. I spent 5 million SL but i got 3 of the vehicles within 2 million, then it took 3 more million to get the tornado. I hate the market prices. Some of the coolest unique vehicles are locked away to most players.
The only tank I want on that list is the C2A1!! I missed getting it as an unlock as I was away for training than got scamed from gaijin from the loot crate.. I wish I could just purchase it but I play console
I have the Ki-94-II and its alright, decent dive speed and pretty good cannons, but if i had to choose between using it or my j6k1.. i'd prefer the j6k1.

I got the vfw a while back in a crate and can 100% it’s not worth it. Garbage mobility, garbage depression, and your a giant open top.
If you like getting one kill then getting machined gunned to death by planes or even just other tanks then this is the vehicle for you.

question. now that hull break is gone is the Class 3 once again immune to damage? dont know if you remember but the Class 3 use to be unkillable when it first released for like a week before they gave it hull break and completely killed the tank.
