But now, I no longer have much free time to mintpick in every corner of genshin, and that lead me to another problem, Less Pull overall that lead me into another big problem. They locked so called improvement that I need to help exploring teyvat into a Gamble with my less pull. Well, I do buy welkin/BP/GC monthly because I want it, not because they DEMAND it. And now they DEMAND all your Time to build 8-18 Character every element for theatric drama. If this were a partner in life, SORRY

I legit was so curious about how this small drama was coming along. Of course the bugs and lagging really scared me, cuz I love Kuro Games, they do amazing games. I'm glad that they really got on top of a lot. They have a long road, but they made a solid game. I even this this is healthy competition for Genshin. I hope one day both communities can be chill like PGR and HI3

Well development can happen with characters design or story. But they can't suddenly change wall climbing to running or parkout. Recent characters also getting better gameplay.

I like genshin's slow pace exploration though fr. My life has been too fast pace and I need help from other things to calm and slow me down. Genshin is one of the place that remind me to slow down, breath, and enjoy the moment for a while.

It’s kinda like Genshin got the “evolutionary to game industry” level of PUBG + the Aesthetic and lore like League of Legends. And WuWa is inspired by Genshin(undeniably) like Fortnite(inspired by PUBG, but introduced some of the better mechanics and quicker gameplay) But got the aesthetic from DOTA 2 where it looks darker and (also undeniably) less appealing than Genshin.
so basically, MiHOYO execute their market on Genshin REALLY well. But they are too drowned on their success and too laidback because of the lack on competition and didn’t try to step up their game.
After playing wuwa since the day 1 release I don't think I'll go back on Genshin anymore since wuwa has it better and the things players needed and wanted for 4 years.
I just uninstalled genshin for good.. been wasting my time on trying to max out my neuvi and couple of other characters.. they need to implement something better for the artifacts farming method etc.. painful mechanics to be exact
Although i felt dragged through the story for the first part so far and dont feel compelled by most of the female characters save for Baizhi (which is particularly rough since they're the ones you primarily interact with at the start) WuWa's gameplay is the first time i ever played a game almost entirely for the gameplay tbh. Like, it just feels so good. The running, climbing, parkour, backflips, the DODGING omg i love the didge mechanics. And the echo mechanic was unexpected!! The echo thing almost reminds me of pokemon which was a major interest of mine for agessss. So ive been having fun, and im hoping the writing improves. I hear they did a lot of rewrites and there mightve been something with the dubbing team, so Im hoping things will be more solid going forward. I also admittedly dislike most of the adult female character designs (they feel a lot less interesting than the mens' - pretty but not much else while men are allowed more accessories and less form-fitting things like loose jackets or pants that give a lot of flair) but that's just gatcha game culture lmao. I think I'll at least get used to them over time. Anyways thanks for letting me ramble. Looking forward to seeing where wuwa goes with yall

they don't care about that, just like how they can barely fathom the fact that the twins aren't actually the main focus in Genshin, but exploring and experiencing the god-damned land was. WuWa world is more comparable to ToF, HSR and HI3 rather than Genshin, and tbh I felt like WuWa is like the polished version of ToF gameplay.

For me it is more fun and easier to explore wuthering waves, in 2 hours I activated all the TP that were there at the time in version 1.0, In the other two updates I also unlocked all the TP, it is harder to explore being new in Genshin because of the stamina issue that never seems to be enough
I play both rn but building characters in genshins seems more difficult which i enjoy more cuz i attach to that character more, and wuwa might be just a bit too much in terms of combat. I play games to relax not to have my screen flash 100 combos and swaps and animations. I just press 4 buttons on genshin then auttoattack ti death with my wanderer. Simple, looks good and not stressing. Games are supposed to be relaxing especially a non competitive gacha game
I think it's mainly personal taste. Games aren't made to be relaxing, they're made to be entertaining. No many people would call a battle royal or shooter game relaxing, but they're still games. Wuwa is more focused on combat so it makes sense that it is more complicated, but I do agree that building characters in genshin seem a lot more challenging.
I like wuwa’s combat because you actually have to try, I’ve played genshin for 3 years but can’t take the lack of difficulty anymore. Bosses that have annoying mechanics like worming into the ground and flying make it so you have to wait before you can hit them and just overall sponge HP isn’t real difficulty, just unfairness.

No hate against any company or anyone but just saying the true incident that happened to me ,I vomited after playing Wuthering waves on my phone the games movement gave me motion sickness when playing it on a small screen and the sensitivity on mobile is just so bad I have to do more than 7 swipes to do a 180 degree turn meanwhile it’s only a fraction of a swipe in Genshin and the lack of music on open world just makes my brain go numb and the camera angle doesn’t change depending on different slanted environments all that on top of bad optimization (especially fps drops when we engage with npcs or other character) just made the game give a bad first impression still playing though but not gonna do exploration for a while

I think this is the exact reason why WW gacha banners may fail. In WW, every character has access to parkour, which is really, really good for the playerbase. But that's the thing. In an open world, they gave access to players to the best thing possible: smooth and enjoyable traversal. In genshin, characters have a 3rd non combat passive for exploration enhancing purposes. Genshin's base exploration is really bland on purpose because look at the characters genshin has; I'll go from the beginning where we got exploration enhancing characters: Mona, Keqing, Venti, Zhongli, Albedo, Xiao, Kazuha, Ayaka, Sayu, Yelan, Nahida, Wanderer, Alhaitham, Kirara, Lynette, Furina, Xianyun, Chiori, Arlecchino. All these characters have one thing in common; enhancing your exploration, with wanderer being best of the bunch. Characters in this make exploration fun, faster, and more efficient. That's a major thing to remember in Open world games. That's why genshin is successful in all of their banners, because even outside of combat relevance, they have some fun gimmicks. But WW is lacking in this area since every character has the best thing possible in open world terms. Most low spenders and f2ps will have a huge turn-off when future characters show up. That's just my opinion, tho.
Just because one company has sold you these things as "extras" doesn't mean the next company that shows you that these can come standard will fail. The market that WuWa is attracting, have different reasons to want a character and may appreciate a company that doesn't gimp all the other characters and QOL in the process of delivering them the gameplay they want SOME of the reasons why you want a character in WuWa: 1. Collection (Get the all) 2. Aesthetic (Look cool, nice) 3. Team synergy (Need this skill buff) 4. Lore (Oh a God!) 5. Power (I need a stronger DPS) With all these reasons already, I don't think they need to worry about creating a market for "Wall climbing"

Genshin walked with a low stamina gauge so Wuthering Waves could run endlessly when out of combat. Part of the reason I love the running in Wurthering Waves is I found it so unsatisfying in Genshin Impact.

The world of Genshin has more to explore than Wuwa, but traversal in Wuwa is definitely more convenient than Genshin. The difference is genshin is more on humane side why? Because they focus on normal movements of humans for the characters such as stamina for running and swimming they make it more realistic as if you’re truly in the game

Although i felt dragged through the story for the first part so far and dont feel compelled by most of the female characters save for Baizhi (which is particularly rough since they're the ones you primarily interact with at the start) WuWa's gameplay is the first time i ever played a game almost entirely for the gameplay tbh. Like, it just feels so good. The running, climbing, parkour, backflips, the DODGING omg i love the didge mechanics. And the echo mechanic was unexpected!! The echo thing almost reminds me of pokemon which was a major interest of mine for agessss. So ive been having fun, and im hoping the writing improves. I hear they did a lot of rewrites and there mightve been something with the dubbing team, so Im hoping things will be more solid going forward.
I also admittedly dislike most of the adult female character designs (they feel a lot less interesting than the mens' - pretty but not much else while men are allowed more accessories and less form-fitting things like loose jackets or pants that give a lot of flair) but that's just gatcha game culture lmao. I think I'll at least get used to them over time.

For me it is more fun and easier to explore wuthering waves, in 2 hours I activated all the TP that were there at the time in version 1.0, In the other two updates I also unlocked all the TP, it is harder to explore being new in Genshin because of the stamina issue that never seems to be enough
I play both rn but building characters in genshins seems more difficult which i enjoy more cuz i attach to that character more, and wuwa might be just a bit too much in terms of combat. I play games to relax not to have my screen flash 100 combos and swaps and animations. I just press 4 buttons on genshin then auttoattack ti death with my wanderer. Simple, looks good and not stressing. Games are supposed to be relaxing especially a non competitive gacha game
I think it's mainly personal taste. Games aren't made to be relaxing, they're made to be entertaining. No many people would call a battle royal or shooter game relaxing, but they're still games. Wuwa is more focused on combat so it makes sense that it is more complicated, but I do agree that building characters in genshin seem a lot more challenging.
I like wuwa’s combat because you actually have to try, I’ve played genshin for 3 years but can’t take the lack of difficulty anymore. Bosses that have annoying mechanics like worming into the ground and flying make it so you have to wait before you can hit them and just overall sponge HP isn’t real difficulty, just unfairness.

No hate against any company or anyone but just saying the true incident that happened to me ,I vomited after playing Wuthering waves on my phone the games movement gave me motion sickness when playing it on a small screen and the sensitivity on mobile is just so bad I have to do more than 7 swipes to do a 180 degree turn meanwhile it’s only a fraction of a swipe in Genshin and the lack of music on open world just makes my brain go numb and the camera angle doesn’t change depending on different slanted environments all that on top of bad optimization (especially fps drops when we engage with npcs or other character) just made the game give a bad first impression still playing though but not gonna do exploration for a while

I think this is the exact reason why WW gacha banners may fail.
In WW, every character has access to parkour, which is really, really good for the playerbase. But that's the thing. In an open world, they gave access to players to the best thing possible: smooth and enjoyable traversal.
In genshin, characters have a 3rd non combat passive for exploration enhancing purposes. Genshin's base exploration is really bland on purpose because look at the characters genshin has; I'll go from the beginning where we got exploration enhancing characters:
Mona, Keqing, Venti, Zhongli, Albedo, Xiao, Kazuha, Ayaka, Sayu, Yelan, Nahida, Wanderer, Alhaitham, Kirara, Lynette, Furina, Xianyun, Chiori, Arlecchino.
All these characters have one thing in common; enhancing your exploration, with wanderer being best of the bunch. Characters in this make exploration fun, faster, and more efficient. That's a major thing to remember in Open world games. That's why genshin is successful in all of their banners, because even outside of combat relevance, they have some fun gimmicks.
But WW is lacking in this area since every character has the best thing possible in open world terms. Most low spenders and f2ps will have a huge turn-off when future characters show up.
That's just my opinion, tho.

Just because one company has sold you these things as "extras" doesn't mean the next company that shows you that these can come standard will fail.
The market that WuWa is attracting, have different reasons to want a character and may appreciate a company that doesn't gimp all the other characters and QOL in the process of delivering them the gameplay they want
SOME of the reasons why you want a character in WuWa:
1. Collection (Get the all)
2. Aesthetic (Look cool, nice)
3. Team synergy (Need this skill buff)
4. Lore (Oh a God!)
5. Power (I need a stronger DPS)
With all these reasons already, I don't think they need to worry about creating a market for "Wall climbing"

Genshin walked with a low stamina gauge so Wuthering Waves could run endlessly when out of combat. Part of the reason I love the running in Wurthering Waves is I found it so unsatisfying in Genshin Impact.
