I would make sure you're using the most up to date version of the native-notify package. That error looks like you're using the older version of the native-notify package from almost 2 years ago.
I'm sorry you're stuck. One thing to mention is you should use the Pixel 3a API 32 Android device on the emulator if you're testing with an Android emulator on a Mac. Sometimes Expo Go crashes on other emulators. Also, open up the Expo app one time on the emulator before updating the code - sometimes the app won't open if you update the code first, I have found
