i also wanna clarify that by no item drops i mean no using items dropped by enemies

also even pre-nerf bubonic plant was easy for me cuz i have defend+ and safe guard, back when u can use the defend card in a second turn on solo

This video was a good one. I’d never actually thought someone would use Thick Skull seeing as how it just makes every challenge hard without many levels. And you’ve got potential. The editing, the creativity of challenge, a tough spirit (R.I.P. Jim), and your skill. The Cruel King’s second Freeze move is just hard for me to counter since he takes a long time to actually attack. It’s always the delayed attacks that get to me (One day I’ll get you Stylish badge) Hopefully you get more subscribers one day since the editing makes you look pretty well known (and you should be). Also a tip for Bigfoot’s Vine Swing, get Defend+, it just lets you brush it off. Good luck trying to no hit Bigfoot. And good luck with your channel career (not trying to be rude).

I’ve honestly titled difficulties based off of the cards.
These are:
Easy: training wheels
Normal: no cards like hard mode or training wheels
Hard: hard mode
Expert: slow go, hard mode, no super dodging.
Extreme: slow go, hard mode, 2x damage and no super guarding.
Hell mode: hard mode slow go 2x damage no super guarding dodging window 1/2
Hell+: add thick skull to the mix.
Hell++: no shops
Impossible: everything except its solo plus no items
The last one is genuinely impossible and I don’t think anyone’s beating it (mainly because Red and Blue are impossible)
Oh also I forgot in impossible you can’t equip any cards
thick skull run was really fun for me! i did it a while back and it was very challenging but very fun at the same time
in other words "beating block tales as a religious person"
I've already done that, normal playthroughs are rather easy.

I don't think the shedletsky Ice Dagger use is mandatory. One of my friends just skipped it by not going to the HQ and heading straight to Bizville, I believe. Though, honestly, I don't know.
How does channel not have 10k subs for such quality content
you know in block tales theres a secret feature that gives you items when you win a battle even though a enemy does'nt have any items on them so this challenge is a fail and to find that you got a hidden item at the end of every battle the hidden item would pop up at the last seconds of you winning the battle
you see once i flex my massive muscles the enemies seem to just not want to drop any items, hope that helps!
I wouldn’t say it’s a secret. Many people know this feature exists and they are hidden items. These are basically items/cards that an enemy could be holding without you seeing it (if you watch Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, it’s like stand users around normal people). But only the right most enemy drops it.

Actually the first time I’ve ever seen someone use it (or second). Thick Skull is the worst card in the game by far since it gives no exp to level up with and most people use the challenge cards for MORE exp rather than none.

I did this will all difficulty cards (allowed my self shops am no psycho), i got to the komodo dragon, and at that point needed perfect rng, gave up after that, might give it another try with your rules instead, looks more fun this way (took 8 hours to get past the ice king)
did you forget that mango heals 8 hp and removes poison, its extremely handy for that reason

horrible. absolutely horrible.
in chapter 1 most enemies only do like at most 3 damage per hit, which means were able to tank 4 unblocked attacks before dying.
chapter 2 gets so much worse because bosses start learning to do 2 turns in a row and start doing enough damage to kill us in 2 hits
i literally cannot imagine chapter 3 or really anything giving us the same amount as mercy as demo 1 and 2 did 😭😭
Since demo 1 and 2 serve as kind of tutorials (demo 1 being an intro to ovetall gameplay and demo 2 being basically there to tell you "TIME YO BLOCKS MF" and "make decent strategies") it is probable that demo 3 will be complete hell or at least have a huge difficulty spike

Bro I just rushed the game when chapter 2 was released, and when I defeated Griefer, I just said: "gosh this is over... Good chapter, strong boss... WHAT THE HELL HE DOES HAVE A SECOND PHASE?!" And died (I was low on HP), but returned and defeated it on second try, was kinda easy with Defend+ and now I just discovered that he was nerfed, and I defeated him in pre-nerf...

Hey minor correction but you know your “no item drops rule” is literally impossible because enemies can have hidden drops upon the end of battle, such as worms for example or an Apple, which is probably how you got that onion ring.
i tried hard mode but i can never get the timing right cause I'm to old school, once I learn how a game works I just roll with that.

Yes you can. It takes time and a a lot of super guarding and only using he sword and dynamite and rocket boots because there only useful

When I first fought the Bubonic Plant, I was like “Holy MOLY! HE HAS A SECOND PHASE!?” And it used to be extremely hard to me. Plant rush, Tendril fury, the Chargeup buffs, Acid Rain. I was like “Okay, this has to be the hardest boss ever.” Now, he’s still a challenge, but not that hard anymore.
