Starting with the most common solutions for no sound from TV:
Television Has No Sound Answer 1: Make sure TV is not muted.
Television Has No Sound Answer 2: Make sure the TV is not set to SAP (secondary audio protocol)
Television Has No Sound Answer 3: Make sure TV input is correct (someone may have accidentally pressed the “aux” input button or similar causing the TV to use an input with no sound going to it)
Television Has No Sound Answer 4: Make sure there is not a pair of headphones connected to the TV audio out jack on the side or front of your TV.

Mine has sound when im using ps5 or other things but when i connect cable box no sound

Had sound no problem had just watched a movie then bit of normal tv. went to watch a youtube video using the tv app. Clicked on a video, had no sound, backed out which did not back out properly just had the loading in middle of screen,
Held back to come out to return to cable set top box still had no sound.
Tried others had no sound at all, tried all the settings nothing.
Turned it off left for 5 mins turned back on and was back.
Dont understand what happened why it would do this, cautious to go back on the youtube app now
What was the fix this same happened with me on lg g2
@@av4921 well this has not happened again since. So unsure of what the fix was if any.
@@DanR723 yeah same here.. i was using ps5 and suddenly sound went off... I guess there is earthing problem as i can feel little static electricity while touching my table and grounding my feet.. i think i need an electrician... Any idea how to fix this? And is this bad for new tv and ps?
@@av4921 I couldn't really advise to be honest with what you have described.
Do you still have no sound and is this on every source. Mine came back after turning tv off for 5 mins as I said in my post
@@DanR723 same with me after restart and a reset it worked.. but static i can feel on tv means I need to fix earthing or phase
