Thanks everyone!
Alex & Gabor well done. Great explaination of how the OG Binson EchoRec and EP3 heads work that its based on. Nux sounds great too especially w/single coils. It is very clear & not noisy at all. The original tape echo units were prone to break down and tape needed replacing so Im glad they nailed some good tones here without the costs. I'm very tempted to add this to the others I play with. Its just a guiding space thing sound I keep coming back to.
Lol. The dotted eighth is always U2 to me too, then there's the Gilmour and the holy grail (or Saucerful of Secrets) spacey Sid Barrett tones. I heard The Police tones then Rush Alex Lifeson, jazz, then 50's rockabilly slap back. Very versatile.
And just to finish sounding like a total tone snob, I bet it pairs with a strat or tele into a Fender Blackface Spring reverb or Plate?
*does a sommelier's tone cork sniff*
And YES sitting right on the Edge of Oscillation...DEAD ASS RIIIIGHT!
Or thats what they kids say as an affirmation around here. Quite right?
English is not my forté. That's where the chaos gets fun. Like playing over a synth pad that changes cause you control it. 🏄
Alternatives I like: Strymon El Cap and Catalinbread Echo Rec.
Detroit.
Yeah yeah I allegedly murdered everyone with bad jokes.

Excellent delay that colors your tone in a very usable way, and great for vocals.
It’s proved to me to be roadworthy, and the “trails” buffer doesn’t seem to care about “charge pump” issues some pedals have with Klons/Klones. It’s also nice and quiet and makes a clean amp showcase it’s modulation-easy to get lost in the repeats. SpaceEchoish delay for still under $100 USD, it’s definitely worth owning if you’re looking for “That” sound.
I got one some weeks ago. It's fantastic for the price.
For vintage style Shadowish sounds use head 1 and 3 and you get the Hank Marvin delay sound for a bargain.
Using the editor on your PC you can add reverb and modulation and save it as a present to any position on the rotary knob.
It's a killer pedal for the price...and the editor makes it even better!
how can the phone connect with pedal ? wifi or bluetooth ?
@@EchoReverb6
Sorry i made a mistake. The editor is not available for phones. I have it on my Windows notebook.
@@TheElrondo dont be sorry , i like this pedal , and thanks for share all the information .really helps
@@TheElrondo and 2guys in video seems use phone to control the pedal ? or they just use phone not for the pedal?
The "mahmp...mahmp" from Archer really got me 😆
I'm very impressed with how the time knob reacts to changes in position.
Just bought me a Boss RE-20. And now I see this video... I suppose both pedals sound VERY similar, but I miss the Nux's extra tweaking possibilities for modulation :-/
I'm going to get one of these. I've already got their Atlantic and I just got the Roctary today (gone organ mad lol). I don't need another delay, I've got a delaylab as well for heavens sake...stil getting one tho. :D
Nux are doing great things lately.
They make some really good stuff!!
I'm impressed with the sound, nice demo.
Thanks Kira...yeah so were we!!
This this sounds really good. Especially for $100 US.
A just got one of these today and there fuckin awesome
would be great to hear how the sound changes when the 'sound on sound' feature is engaged and then the delay speed is on
thanks for the vids
rock on

We are doing a second video with this pedal - with the software editor - I will make sure to do it then
I've just got mine. What do the red and green LED show?
I am deliberating between this and the echo reel. Kinda leaning towards this for the price. How would it sound with the danelectro spring reverb?
This has built in reverb too...you can access it of you connect the pedal to your computer. I think value for money this this is pretty amazing...and I'm sure it would sound great with the Danelectro Spring Reverb
I'm searching a delay for pairing on serial with an Empress Echosystem, for doing weird stuff, ambience space music, infinite repeats that saturate on every iteration and so. Do you think this would fit well? I already have a Nux pedal and I was impressed about the quality for the price (Tubeman MKii if the people is asking).
And I read this has a looper and a hidden reverb, definitely might be a bang for the buck.
Yeah this thing is a bit of a hidden gem...you can hook this up to an app on your computer and edit extra parameters...it has a reverb and basic looper that you can access via that app too...we were gonna do a video about it but had to send the pedals back before we got around to doing it
@@TSFAHTPS Probably, I'll get this pedal then. Thanks!
Have you tried the software editor, it adds several controls such as reverb
We will do a seperate video on the editor...it's pretty amazing what you can do with this thing considering the price
Is it better than the dano reel echo in your opinion?
Enzo Hess not sure...i never tried them side by side...I really liked both...this one is pretty amazing considering the price and it's much smaller too...but then I love the Reel Echo...you can tweak the NUX more...especially with the software editor...
The SuperFunAwesomeHappyTime Pedal Show! I ended up buying this alongside the Biyang Tri Reverb, and a Palmer Tremelo. Put through a Macumbista soundbox for experimentation... Thanks for your videos, they’re fantastic.
Replied to the wrong thread, but you get my gist. My question was a similar one from further up.
Killer deal, but still prefer the Boss one
There may just be a shootout between those two coming soon
@@TSFAHTPS thats the spirit 😀
I can’t say enough good things about this pedal for fucks sake it £60
Absolutely...KILLER pedal!!
Totally agree mate, mine was £50 new!
I have absolutely no issues with it, no unwanted or background noise, really clean, all tape head options sound great, for the money paid it does a brilliant job, all the things I want it to do and more, using the usb firmware on my Mac gives you more options to change wow, flutter, saturation and the update now adds reverb. Overall the build quality, tap tempo and overall effect quality is marvellous, I love using this pedal so much it just adds so character and creativity to my guitar riffs, tracks, I have to push myself to sometimes turn it off and not use it all the time, but a fucking cracking pedal and I leave it always on if I could get away with it!! Well worth the little cash paid for it, just buy one if your thinking about it.
Does it have stereo ping pong delay ?
