The nostalgia gave me chills. It's been such a long time since I've seen this.. must be atleast 15 years ago. Vegeta going SSJ4 and Goku smiling with that music is just ingrained in my memory.
36 years old now and first saw this in 2001/2002 when a buddy of mine got this from kazaa or limewire and burnt it on a cd-rom. Nostalgic tear when Goku waves goodbye at then end :) just as I felt back then.
This AMV is ancient; I remember taking days to download it on dial-up back in 2001 or so. But it's still one of the very best. 99% of the supposed AMVs out there are just random video clips haphazardly overlaid with music, without the editors making any effort to sync the video with the music in any way. This one not only syncs the beats of the video to the music, but also matches the video to the emotional tone of the parts of the song. Plus it's just so very sad that Creed, of all bands, is the best music used in any of these Dragon Ball AMVs. So many shitty DBZ videos set to even shittier music, like Eminem, Limp Bizkit, or even worse garbage (as hard as it is to get shittier than Eminem and Limp Bizkit.)
Well, in addition to all of the memories of Dragon Ball this includes Kai and Super as well as the memories of Morpheus, KaZaa/Grokster, and Limewire... I'm also including the memories of what the Late Akira Toriyama and what FUNimation has left for us. If it wasn't for them, Dragon Ball as we know it wouldn't be smash hit as it is today. Especially being a staple on Toonami and Adult Swim. Thank you Akira Toriyama. Thank you FUNimation. Neither will be forgotten. Good bye...
12 years later and still this amv gets me just as much as it did then. the impact these anime characters had on me and still have. Remember watching db and dbz with my younger brother. still we now both grown up and with each of our own, we still watch dragon ball as often as we can.
One of if not the first Anime songs i Downloaded Back in the Napster days in the late 90's early 2000's. It took 13 +hrs to download (dial up) But the memories of the song time and place of dragonball will always be remembered.

A friend gave me a CD with this video on it back in the air force (2004). One of the better moments in my life when the world was round and everything made sense.
My childhood, I made a few of these as kid (DMZ becoming me, Sacrifice, Naruto Loneliness) and uploaded to Gametrailers...sadly, I think they are gone forever '-(

Dragonball Z Kai is just.......It fails in comparison to the old DBZ. I was "ok" with all the changes until they changed Goku's epic line when he transformed into a Super Sayin for the first time, that's where I draw the line.
