I had a great time with this video. I used my mountain bike on the descent which helped the positioning of the camera and provided better grip and control on the downhill

Great video. Never been past Copper on that trail.
    Average speed downhill?
Also, for May, path users seem pretty light...normal?

Thanks!, This May there seemed to be more people on the trail than normal, trail is normally lightly travelled in May. There are places you can safely open up a bit but my average speed is generally in the 20's, you have to really respect the corners and expect other trail users on there way up all the time.

After the cut at 8:50 (from repath to frisco). What is the following footage path?

That Cut is the Ten Mile Rec Path going down to Frisco from Copper Mountain. The exact location is just after the Curtain Ponds and crossing a bridge over Ten Mile Creek. This section of the Ten Mile Creek Rec Path is really scenic!

@@briankoehn1647 Thanks. And please excuse my ignorance (Im from Texas, lol)...my question is then, what is the scenery like from the RecPath to Vail. I believe that is the opposite side of the route you took.

Gotcha! The Rec Path going down from Vail Pass to East Vail is pretty steep and has some good views along the way. From the pass there is a road section that goes by a few lakes until the road stops and the rec path begins. The road is only a few miles long. the rec path from there goes through some great scenery until merging into I-70 and follows I-70 a ways until it turns under I-70 at a bridge. The I-70 section is very steep. After the bridge under I-70, the rec path is really nice and scenic. It will merge into a road that has been converted to rec Path for the duration of the descent into East Vail and ends at the Gore Creek Camp Ground. I saw bear scat in this part of the path this year but have never seen any large wildlife yet. This is the same road that was used in the USA Pro Cycling Challenge and has Jens Voigt's "Shut Up Legs" quote painted on the road near the turn off. The Vail side is a great descent but a brutal climb back up to the top. Take your time in both directions.
