Somebody said y'all gave it a 4 out of 10. Sorry. Not watching anybody who listen to that album and thought that. I can't even do it.

Organising and having a ear for compiling the songs. Is damn key and critical. Never thought about that. Especially if your listening cd. You got to hook the listener. Some of the songs don’t gel. Technicolour is good, somehow feels it doesn’t fit or unfinished.

nobody said it was a Nysnc tour or that they will come out for all of his tour stops, they only came out for Justin's tour once, however speaking of Nsync, Joey Fatone is currently touring with AJ McLean from The Backstreet Boys!

I think they chose the wrong single. Selfish is a cry me a river remake that should've gone to Bieber. Sanctified would've been better for a lack luster album. I love JT and was waiting for a new project but not this. 💔

I think you guys nailed it when you said he could've been good and had a solid career if he would've just hung it up after 20/20 Experience. Actually we didn't need part 2 of 20/20 Experience, but yeah you guys nailed it. JT after about 31 ish just didn't age well, him and his music. He was " him " at one time though, especially FSLS.

I think Justin Timberlake is such a relic of a different era that he just no longer fits music today. His sound, collaborators and frame of reference either faded or become antiquated - D

@@AlbumMode Yes and he was never consistent with music, even at his prime, he took at least 5 years off in-between Albums. He was never committed to music in my opinion.

Awesome Review! I also gave it a 4/10, but don’t sleep on “Infinity Sex”…the hook is amazing, reminds me of Jay Kay from Jamiroquai. Hope he can do a duet remix with him. Cheers!!

-Like Démar, I wish yous would’ve reviewed Kacey’s Deeper Well as part of this double. I hadn’t planned on listening to it, but gave it a shot once I saw yous were thinking of doing it. I was pleasantly surprised as it is pretty good and I know I would enjoy hearing yous break that down. And, fwiw, I voted for the Flo Milli record.
-Yeah, I’m trying to avoid talking about this JT record as it is BAD.
Bad. Bad. Bad. Really, really bad.
    Not Michael Jackson Bad.
    Corey Feldman BAD.
-I literally LOLed at one point because I just could not believe how bad the song was. I think it was “Play” (and now I see that yous weren’t too fond of this one either) Embarrassingly bad. And my god, some of these lyrics. Whoah. Bad. I know I’m overusing “bad”. I’m just trying my best to be nice. And “bad” is the safest “nice” word I feel comfortable using here. And, I’m gonna stop here, because I couldn’t find anything positive to say and I don’t want to crap all over this. I did try. But I had to give up.
-I love you Adriel, but I think you might be giving this too high of a rating, especially after seeing what you gave Flo Milli’s fantastic Fine Ho, Stay record!! No way is Flo Milli’s only 1.5 points higher than this. But I love you and I forgive you😉
33:41 I’ll say it! It is trash! Damn, sorry, I tried to keep from going there🥸

Sometimes you have to give the people what they want. They wanted Justin, so we gave them Justin. I do think the Musgraves album was pretty solid though, her song writing is dope. I really, really like Anime Eyes - D

The weird thing to me is that since The 20/20 exp., Justin has had two big hits. "Can't Stop the Feeling" and "Say Something". And he's basically just ignored them.
I feel like any other artist would recognize that they're basically the audience literally telling them "this is what we want to hear from you", and build an album in that style. But apparently not.

    • @MassimoCerreto
      @MassimoCerreto 4 месяца назад +1

Because it's not really what people want.
Not only was Can't stop the feeling a movie song, it was also kinda different to what he had done before. I think the best comparison would be Happy by Pharrell. This has been his biggest hit too, but that doesn't mean that he would succeed with another track like that. JT was smart enough to avoid that, that's why his contribution to Trolls 2 sounded a lot different.
Same with Say something. A full blown country collab? Who would have thought that this would ever happen? That, combined with the brilliant music video and (of course!) Chris Stapleton made people curious. And the song was also catchy. But again: country is not what we want to hear from artists like this on a regular basis, so you can already drop your hopes regarding a permanent change of direction for Beyoncé albums ;-)

People are way too hard on JT. There’s a solid 14 out of 18 songs on this album . Yes the first 4 songs aren’t it but once you get to Technicolor the rest are solid.

Justin is simply just not relevant in this era or to this generation.
Like the patrol officer who stopped him for his DWI, he didn't even know who he was...lol.
Cus the kid was born in 2000, same year JT was still in Nsync.
His peak was 1997 - 2007; so 2002-03 in his Justified era and ofcourse FutureSex/LoveSounds. By 2008 even he fell off musically, that's why he acted for so long.
20/20 experience was meh, but it still was successful "Suit & Tie" did ok but "Mirrors" was the Smash. Then "Can't Stop The Feeling" in 2016 for Trolls.
Man of The Woods I'm sure he'd like to delete from his memory cus yeah it was atrocious,
and this new album is forgettable aswell. The only song I really dig from the new LP is "Conditions"
