It's hard to believe he's Swedish, he plays an American so well, definitely one of new favorite actors.
He was raised bilingual. His dad was American. He spoke Swedish to his mom and English to his dad - according to interviews.

Yeah, I saw him in the movie Easy Money, dialogue is straight swedish, then when I saw him in The Killing, and Robo Cop, along with House of Cards, he sold me to his acting technique. Hope to see him in other film developments.

Joel Kinnaman has a great sense of humor and worked well with Conan. But I kind of wish that I had waited until after I saw RoboCop to watch this video. Cause everytime that RoboCop (Joel Kinnaman) turns around, this video will replay in my head.

Usually I'm not a big fan of the remakes but when I saw his movie.... Kinda enjoyed it... I was actually surprise... Keaton does a good job and so does Gary Oldman as always...
I feel like Conan is having too much fun on TBS than he would have on NBC...Thing may have turned out for the best.

I didn't like The Killing that much (although I've heard great things about the 3rd season), but Mireille Enos and Kinnaman were pretty fantastic all the way through. Skeptical about this reboot, but I wish him immense future success.

Yes ^^ Like the tense moment when you see what's left of him :S And that he is so cold hearted sometimes :) There is just a lack of really interesting caracters, there are a few but they don't match up to him :/
Yeah I agree, when they showed him his lungs and heart and brain are what's left.. that was an "oh shit!" moment for me. I like the fact that there weren't many interesting characters, I mean it keeps the focus on Robocop alone and since this was a remake - it needed that. I just felt in the end that Keaton's character went a little "out of character" from a business man to all of a sudden "I'm gonna kill your wife and kill or be killed type" i dunno, it was a little off for me.
True that. I'd definitely see part 2 of they ever green lit it, of course it would all depend on how this one does in ticket sales. Hopefully part 2 would NOT include jetpacks but instead would include his knuckle spike, dunno if you're familiar with it, but it wasn't shown in this remake. I also would like to see a mean/badass foe probably on par with him in all aspects. Then in the end of that film tease about how after all the destruction and the mayhem that occurred Robocop inadvertently and accidentally made an enemy of someone who is now hellbent on his destruction.
Somewhere along those lines.. LOL!

Wow, a lot of hate about this remake and how this is gonna ruin a classic or the original. That's the whole point of still having the original, even if the remake turns out bad you still have the original.

AHV Haha, I know you talk about the original but "prequels" is another story. Don't get me wrong, I think George Lucas is a genius but a lot of people around him were afraid to say no when he directed the prequels. I hope that JJ Abrahams will do a great job with episode 7

That pool story was basically the reviews of the reboot, something so exciting in the beginning and just petering out by the end 😂
Robocop was actually pretty good. I mean, nothing beats the original of course but, I like how they build up and focused on the storyline and the direction they took to get there.
I saw the movie and it was great - especially Joel Kinnaman's performance, and ofcourse Gary Oldman is always great.

I loved him since like Arn, Second Avenue and Johan Falk (Swedish films and tv shows). He's been my hero since 2007. He was the first man who inspired me to wanting to become an actress.
I'll definitely going to watch the new Robocop, I have stopped judging films in advance, because sometimes "remake" Movies are better than the original, and sometimes they are worse.

i actually think this version is better, for a lot of reason's, mostly the action.
I actually really liked this movie. I don't know why everyone always has to compare. Honestly, I thought the originals were terrible and boring. While, I don't expect everyone to like the new one, just watch it without bias, see it as something stand alone, and if you hate it well you hate it.
The remake was not excellent, but it was pretty damn good, and I ASSURE you, if they do a sequel (wich I hope) it will be much better than robocop 2 and 3......

I feel like the ratings for this movie are misleading because a bunch of people gave it a 1 star before the movie even came out just because of their bias nostalgic attitude towards it. "DURR ORIGINAL IS BETTER DURRH" They judge this movie based on comparison. I say go see it first before you judge but I don't think you should judge based on comparison to an original.
