DK77 well khatris that had joined the Sikhism are still sikhs and not all the khatris had joined the Sikhism. Do you know about five beloveds(panj pyare)? They are all from upper castes to lower castes like khatri(shopkeeper), jatt( farmer),jeeaur(water carrier),chheemba(washer man) and naae(barber)
DK77 well Sikh is a Sikh either he is barber,khatri,jatt,washer man etc. It does not matter. Now Christians,Muslims,Hindus and many others are joining Sikhism. No one will count their castes. DK77 ideology by khatri caste Hindus to combat islam???? Go and read history first. Guru Nanak was from a khatri caste but he said that God is one. His intention was not combat any religion. It was only the time of Guru Gobind Singh when Khalsa was made to combat evil not necessarily Islam
DK77 the point you were trying to make was that sikhism was an ideology to. Combat islam to which I said that Guru Nanak did not have any such intention and Guru Gobind singh created Khalsa to fight evil. At that time Islamic rulers were doing forced conversion and killing people against which Sikhs stood but that again does not prove that sikhism was an ideology to combat islam.. Don't try to make long stories to deviate from the original topic dude

True Indians seem to be in denial BUT do you not know that Indian education system does not teach the TRUE history of India to their school kids? Sikh religion is believe in One God. Actually a religion of Humanity. In Convid-19 time, Sikh's served free food ( lunger) in the whole world. In lockdown when In India labor people when migrate back to their States. They walked from 700 to 1600km. Sikh Gurudewaras provide food to them.
