  • Concept of God in Sikhism - Dr Zakir Naik
    COG-5
Let’s try and understand the concept of God in Sikhism. Though Sikhism is not considered one of the major world religions but has a huge following, it is considered as an off shoot of Hinduism and it was founded by Guru Nanak in the late part of the 15th century, in the land of Pakistan and North Western India, called as Punjab, the land of the five rivers. And Guru Nanak Sahib he was born on a Hindu Kshatriya family that’s the warrior caste family. And the word ‘Sikh’ is derived from the word ‘Sisya’ which means a ‘disciple.’ Therefore Sikhism is called as the religion of ten Guru’s, the first and the founder is Guru Nanak Sahib and the last is Guru Gobind Sahib and the sacred book of Sikhism is the Guru Granth Sahib, also know as Adi Granth. And every Sikh has to maintain his five ‘Ks’ .
The first ‘K’ is the ‘Kesh’, that’s the uncut hair which all the gurus kept. The second ‘K’ is the ‘Kanga’, that’s the comb to keep the hair clean. The third ‘K’ is the ‘Kadha’, that’s a metal or a steel bangle which is used for strength.
The fourth ‘K’ is the ‘Kirpan’, or the dagger which is used for self defense.
And the fifth ‘K’ is the ‘Kacha’ or the long under draws or under wear which is used for agility.
Every Sikh according to Sikhism has to maintain his 5 ‘Ks.’ And if you ask any Sikh that what is the definition of Almighty God in Sikhism, the best reply he can give you is quote to you the ‘Mul Mantra’ of Sikhism. That’s the fundamental creed of Sikhism, which is there in the first volume of Guru Granth Sahib, 1st Chapter, 1st Verse, know as ‘Japuji’
It says that God is only One. He is called as the ‘True’, the Creator who’s free from fear and hate, ‘the Immortal, ‘not begotten’, ‘Self-Existing’ ‘Great and Compassionate’. This is the definition of Almighty God in the Japuji which is the Mul Mantra of Sikhism.
And Sikhism is strictly a monotheistic religion. And in the un-manifest form Almighty God in Sikhism is called as ‘Ek Omkara’ and in the manifest form, he’s called as ‘Omkara’. And there are various attributes given to Almighty God in Sikhism, in the sacred scriptures, he is refered to as ‘Akal’… that’s Eternal. He’s called as the ‘Kartar’, the creator. He’s referred to as ‘Satnama’ which is the Holy Name. He’s called as ‘Sahib’ which means the Lord. He’s called as ‘Parvardigar’, which means the Cherisher. He’s called as ‘Rahim’… the Merciful. He’s called as ‘Karim’…‘the Beneficient, he’s also called as ‘Wahe Guru’, means ‘One true God’.
Sikhism besides being a Monotheistic religion, it is against ‘Avtarvada’, which means it is against Almighty God taking incarnation. Against Almighty God incarnating known as ‘Avtar.’ And it is also against idol worship. And Guru Nanak, he was also influenced by Sant Kabir, and in our school days we were taught the couplets, the ‘Dohas’ of Sant Kabir, and one of the famous couplet which I learnt in school was,
“Dukh mein sumren sab kare, Sukh mein kare na koi. Jo sukh mein sumren kare, to dukh kahe hoi.”
    Which means,
“During trouble all the people remember God but during Peace and happiness no one remembers God. The person who remembers God in times of peace and happiness, why should trouble touch him?”
This is the same thing which is mentioned in the Qur’an, in Surah Al Zumar, Chapter 39, Verse No. 8, where Almighty God says, ...

@@env0x my friend, the concept of Sikhism being a pick and mix of Hinduism and Islam is sadly promoted by those who wish to underplay the significance of Sikhism as a revealed religion. Guru Nanak did not select what he wanted but in his own words promoted what was revealed to him
"I was a minstrel, out of work, when the Lord took me into His service. To sing His Praises day and night, He gave me His Order, right from the start. My Lord and Master has summoned me, His minstrel, to the True Mansion of His Presence. He has dressed me in the robes of His True Praise and Glory. The Ambrosial Nectar of the True Name has become my food. Those who follow the Guru's Teachings, who eat this food and are satisfied, find peace. His minstrel spreads His Glory, singing and vibrating the Word of His Shabad. Nanak, praising the True Lord, I have obtained His Perfection. ||27||Sudh||" (SGGS p150)
It is also not uncommon for Religions to share similar traits. What is relevant is how the Sikh Guru's rejected core practices in the case of Hinduism the belief in multiple god's, idol worship, caste system and ritualistic practices. Instead the Guru's promoted Simran of the One God and service of Humanity.
Yes, thier are writings of Bhagats from different backgrounds within Guru Granth Sahib. However, these Bhagats were not confined by Hinduism or Islam but shared the same spiritual oneness with the teachings of the Guru. This is why for example Bhagats Kabir and Namdev go beyond thier religions of birth and use numerous names for the One God which do not reflect thier religions of birth. Hence they were Bhagats and as per the meaning of this transcended named religion.
I agree the Sikh Guru's are revered by both Hindu's and Muslims, and many more of no faith. This is because Sikh teachings are universal and based on equality.
Finally, us Sikhs do not celebrate Diwali as per Hindu tradition. We celebrate Bandi Chor.

Sikhism is a great religion. Sikhism belive there is only one God and essence of God in every creature of this world regardless of their race or colours, religion or sex. Sikhism belive one will grant heaven due to his or her good deeds not because of if practicing a particular religion. That's why sikhs are serving all humanity without any discrimination regardless of their religions all over the word and in return they never expect them to convert . Probably you have never seen any sikh scholars to lecturing and preaching about Sikhism for order to convert to other religions to Sikhism. All of the Indian religions are great and Sikhism is one of them.

    '
INVITE ALL TO THE WAY OF THY LORD WITH WISDOM AND BEAUTIFULL PREACHING AND ARGUE WITH THEM IN THE WAYS THAT ARE THE BEST AND MOST GRACIOUS '.
    (Surah Nahl ch:16,V/s:125)
It's the duty of every muslim to do Dawah.
Dawah means a call or an invitation. In Islamic context it means to strive for the propagation of Islam.
We love our non-muslim brothers and sisters, and that's why we want them to come towards the truth so we can enter Jannah together 🤲 . .

Here are some motivating tips from Allah and the Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) to help you raise your degrees in Jannah as well as increase your property in Shaa Allah. (Share so we both get the reward Insha’Allah)
    I) Raise your degrees
    1) Memorising the Quran Abd-Allah Ibn 'Amr narrated that the Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"It will be said to the companion of the Quran : Recite and rise in status, recite as you used to recite in the world, for your status will be at the last verse that you recite." [ Tirmidhi and Abu Dawood ]
    2) Doing a lot of dhikr Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"Shall I not inform you the best and the purest of your deed in the sight of your Master, which is the highest in your degrees, is superior to your spending gold and silver in charity, and is better than confronting and fighting against your enemy, cutting one another's necks?". The companions submitted :"Yes, indeed!". He (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"It is remembering Allah." [ Sahih Tirmidhi ]
    3) Doing good deeds(at least compulsory good deeds) and staying away from bad deeds Allah said :" And whoever comes to Him (Allah) as a believer, and has done righteous good deeds, for such are the high ranks (in the Hereafter)." (Quran 20:75)
    4) Doing a lot of nawafil (non compulsory deeds) According to Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :" Allah said :" Whosoever shows enmity to someone devoted to Me, I shall be at war with him. My servant draws near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him. When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him, and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it. I do not hesitate about anything as much as I hesitate about [seizing] the soul of My faithful servant : he hates death and I hate hurting him." [ Bukhari ]
    5) How to earn Jannat ul-Firdaws (highest degree in Jannah)
    Allah said :
"1) Certainly the believers have succeeded :
    2) They who are during their prayer humbly submissive,
    3) And they who turn away from ill speech,
    4) And they who are observant of Zakah,
    5) And they who guard their private parts,
    6) Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed,
    7) But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors,
    8) And they who are to their trusts and their promises attentive,
    9) And they who carefully maintain their prayers,
    10) Those are the inheritors,
    11) Who will inherit Al-Firdaws. They will abide theirein eternally." (Quran 23 : 1-11)
    6) Making a sincere du'aa that you desire Jannat ul-Firdaws It was recorded in the Two Sahihs that the Messenger of Allah (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"If you ask Allah for Paradise, then ask Him for Al-Firdaws for it is the highest part of Paradise, in the middle of Paradise, and from it spring the rivers of Paradise, and above it is the Throne of the Most Merciful." [ Bukhari and Muslim ]
II) Increase your property II-1) How to build a palace
    1) Reciting 10 times surah 'Ikhlas' The Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said:"Whoever recites Qul huwallaahu aHad (Surah Ikhlaas) ten times, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise." [Saheeh al-Jaami’ al-Sagheer, 6472)] PS : It is a very easy way to earn a palace and it only takes about one minute. So you can earn 10 palaces in 10 minutes. Don't waste this great opportunity and try to make this a motivating habit and earn as many palaces as you can.
    2) Praying 12 rak'aat in a day Narrated by Umm Habibah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"A house will be built in Heaven for one who prays 12 Sunnat Rak'aat in a day and evening as follows : 4 rak'aat before and 2 after the Dhur Prayer, 2 after the Maghrib Prayer, 2 after the 'Ishaa' Prayer and 2 before the Fajr Prayer." [ Tirmidhi ]
PS : According to the scholars, the 4 rak'aat should be performed by 2 prayers of 2 rak'aat
    3) Going to the masjid The Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"Whoevers goes to the masjid or comes back from it, Allah prepares for him a house in Paradise every time he goes or comes back." [ Bukhari and Muslim ]
    4) Building a masjid The Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"Whoever builds a masjid (mosque) for Allah, Allah will build for him likewise in Paradise." [ Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim ]
    5) Abandoning arguments and lies and improving your behaviour Abu Umamah (RA) narrated that the Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"I am a guarantor for a house on the outskirts of Paradise for whosoever leaves off arguing, even if he is in the right; and a house in the center of Paradise for whosoever abandons falsehood, even when joking; and a house in the upper-most part of Paradise for whosoever makes his character good." [ Abu Dawud ]
II-2) How to earn other great things in your property
    1) A tree in Jannah Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud (RA) reported that the Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"I met Nabi Ibrahim (AS) when I was taken on Mi'aj (ascension to the heavens) and he told me :"O Muhammad, convey my salam (greetings) to your ummat and tell them that Jannah has good soil and sweet water, but it is barren. The plantation of Jannah is (the recital of) Subhan'Allah, Alhamdulill'AH? La ilaha illa Allah and Allahu Akbar." [ Sunan Tirmidhi, hadith: 3462. Imam Tirmidhi has classified his hadith as sound (hasan) ]
PS : It is time to build our own huge forests in Shaa Allah. So let's get motivated.
    2) A palm tree in Jannah Hadhrat Jaa'bir (RA) narrated that the Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"For the person who recites 'SUBHAN'ALLAH HIL AZEEM WA BIHAMDIHI' (Pure and Perfect is Allah in his glory and praise], - A date palm will be planted for him in Paradise". [ Tirmidhi ]
    3) Treasures of Jannah Hadhrat Abu Dharr (RA) narrated that the Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :" Should I not tell you of one treasure of the unlimited treasures of Paradise?" I replied spontaneously "Oh Rasulallah (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) that would be an honor indeed!" Rasulallah (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"That rare is 'LA HAWLA WA LA QUWWATA ILLA BILLAH."(There is no power and no strength except with Allah) [ Ibn Majah ]
    4) A particular amazing room Abdallah Ibn 'Amr (RA) narrated that the Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"There is a room in Paradise whose outside is seen from its inside and whose inside is visible from its outside." So Abou Malk Al Ach'ari (MA) asked :"For whom is it, O Messenger of Allah?". He (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"These rooms will belong to the ones who speak good words, feed the poor, they fast and pray at night when people are at sleep." [ Reported by Tabarani and authenticated bu Shaykh Albani in Sahih Targhib No. 617)
PS : These 4 conditions can be done during Ramadan since we have to fast, speak good, feed the poor (even if just once) and pray at night when people are asleep (after Taraweeh for example). So let's all strive for this amazing room.
    5) Hoor Al Ain (women of Paradise) The Prophet (Sallalahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said :"Whoever suppresses anger and he is able to act upon it, then Allah (SWT) will call him on the day of judgement in front of everyone and make him choose whichever one of the women of Paradise he wants (of Al hoor Al Ayn)". [ Sahih Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud ]
PS : Let's not let go of all of these wonderful rewards. Because remember, the bigger your property, the greater the pleasure. It's time for us to wake up.
Share this with others so that you gain as much rewards as them practising. May Allah grant all of us Jannat ul-Firdaws. Ameen.

Al-Abbas (R.A.), the uncle of the Prophet (ﷺ), came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: “Ya Rasulullah, teach me a du’a.” The Prophet ( ﷺ) said: “O my uncle, say:
    ALLAHUMMA INNI AS’ ALUKA AL’AFIYAH
O Allah, I ask you for afiyah
Learn this dua if you dont already know it.
    What is Afiyah?
    Afiyah means:
To be saved from any afflictions
    To be healthy
    To have enough money
    To live
    To have your children protected
And if you are forgiven and not punished, you are in afiyah.
So basically, Afiyah means: “O Allah, protect me from any pain and sufferings.” This includes both dunya and akhirah.
Al-Abbas (R.A.) thought about this for a while, and then he came back after a few days and said (paraphrased): “Ya Rasulullah, this du’a seems a little short. I want something big.”
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “My dear uncle, ask Allah for Afiyah for Wallahi, you cannot be given anything better than afiyah.”
    It is a simple du’a.
Sincerely mean what you say while praying. “O Allah, I ask You to be saved from any: distress, grief, hardship, harm, and don’t test me, etc.”
All of this is included in *“Allahumma inni as’aluka al’afiyah” (Riyadh As Saliheen, Sunan At-Tirmidhi).

1.The Prophet peace be upon him said "Whosoever recites Durood Sharief on me 10 times in the morning and evening, I will intercede for him on the day of Qiyamah." (TIBRANI)
    2. Whoever reads Surah Ikhlas ten times, Allah will build a palace for him in Paradise. ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) exclaimed, “If that’s the case, then we will increase in our palaces!” The Prophet ﷺ (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) responded, “Allah is better and greater (in reward).” [Ahmad]
    3. Whoever reads Surat al-Kahf on Friday, it will act as a light/protection for him from one Friday to the next. [Bayhaqi]
    4. Whoever performs their ablution carefully and then affirms (their faith by testifying): “Ash-hadu al laa ilaha il Allah wahdahu laa shareeka lahu wa anna Muhammadan `abduhu wa rasuluh , Allahumma-ja’lni min at-tawaabeen waj-a’lni min al-mutatahireen”: ‘I testify that there is no true deity except Allah Alone, Who has no partners, and that Muhammad ﷺ is His slave and Messenger; O Allah, make me from those who repent and purify themselves’ - the eight gates of Jannah are opened for him so he may enter through whichever of these gates he desires.[Tirmidhi]
    5. Whoever says: “Radheetu billahi Rabba, wa bil Islaami Deena, wa bi Muhammadin Nabiyya” - ‘I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, and with Islam as my Religion, and with Muhammad as my Prophet,’ Paradise would be (made) mandatory for him. [Abu Dawud]
    6. Whoever asks Allah for Paradise three times (Allahumma inni as’alukal-Jannah), then Paradise will say: “O Allah! Enter him into Paradise!” And whoever seeks protection with Allah from the Fire three times (Allahumma ajirni minan-Nar), the Fire will say: “O Allah! Protect him from the Fire!” [Tirmidhi]
    7. Whoever is easy-going, gentle and kind, Allah will make the fire forbidden for him. [Hakim]
    8. In Paradise there are rooms whose outside can be seen from the inside and the inside can be seen from the outside. Allah has prepared them for those who feed the poor, who are gentle in speech, who fast regularly and who pray at night when (other) people are asleep. [Ahmad]
    9. Narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “There is a soorah of the Qur’an, with thirty verses, that interceded for a man until he was forgiven; it is ‘Soorah Tabaarak Alladhi bi yadihi’l-mulk (Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion)’ [al-Mulk 67:1].”
    10. Say this 3 times for 6 hours worth of reward: Subhan-Allah Wa bihamdihi, ‘adada khalqihi, wa rida-a nafsihi, wa zenatee ‘arshihi, wa midada kalimatihi(Allah is free from imperfection and I begin with His praise, as many times as the number of His creatures, in accordance with His Good Pleasure, equal to the ink that may be used in recording the words (for His Praise).” (Muslim)

Maybe you don't know but Sri Guru Nanak ji Maharaj went to Mecca too, the Shahi Imam who was a relative of the Prophet came with 150 men to kill Sri Guru Nanak ji Maharaj but saw the Maharaj in meditation/prayer, he asked 360 questions by then morning came & he fell at the Guru's feet & converted. Many relatives of the Prophet converted after this incident but sadly they were all maliciously killed with the Head Imam of Mecca by the Amir as recorded in Arabic records which were researched by the Prince of Mirpur (now in Pakistan) who was also a Saeed & relative of the Prophet & after reading the records in Saudi Arabian libraries when he went there to study to become a Molvi with his father King & stayed to study, later on, his return to India he converted to Sikhi too & became a great Sikh leader he even laid the foundation for the biggest Gurudwara in Europe which is in South Hall, London!
His great-grandson Historian Simar Singh ji is the youngest Sikh researcher in the world & is gonna write a book about it all!
P.s Mohammed Saab ji was mentioned in ancient Sanskrit texts of India so was Sri Guru Nanak ji Maharaj, as a Prophet, which you failed to mention with all your religious education!!!

People enter Hell from three gates:
    1. The gate of doubts because it leads them to doubt the religion of Allaah.
    2. The gate of desire, because it leads them to favor desires over the obedience of Allaah.
    3. The gate of anger, because it leads them to transgress against others.

The concept of God in Sikhism is not one God but the Oneness which we all humans or this creation is connected.
Ek Onkar means we all come from the same Source, does not mean the One God. And this is a big difference from One God theory. Sikhi is not monotheistic religion but panentheistic religion. Which means that we are part of the God, still God stays unique from the creation. God is formless and unique.
Islam concept of One God contradicts the statements that the God is formless. If we say God is one then it cannot be formless. It has a form like an idol.
For example- one candle sitting on the table is defined One by its geometrical boundaries and limitations. If 2 candles are sitting on the table, then 2 different boundaries of candles define 2 candles. The geometrical boundaries define the form. If God has no form then no one knows God’s boundaries or limitations.
For example, let’s take oxygen. Sikh concept of God can be defined as, we all breathe oxygen and connected with that One system of breathing but we do not know the boundaries of oxygen. We don’t say that there is One oxygen. If we don’t know the boundaries or limitations or form then we are very much part of that system. This is the concept of God in Sikhism.

    1. The Patani United Liberation Organisation (PULO) is a Malay Muslim separatist insurgent group in southern Thailand, calling for an independent Patani nation. The PULO, along with others, is currently fighting for the independence of Thailand's predominantly Malay Muslim south. It originated in 1948 as an ethnic and religious separatist insurgency in the historical Malay Patani Region, made up of the three southernmost provinces of Thailand.
    2. Islam is the predominant religion in Chechnya, practiced by 95% of those polled in Grozny in 2010. Chechens are overwhelmingly adherents to the Shafi'i Madhhab of Sunni Islam, the republic having converted to Islam between the 16th and the 19th centuries. Chechen rebels are indulging in fighting russian forces to seccede from Russia. The Second Chechen Сampaign war was an armed conflict on the territory of Chechnya and the border regions of the North Caucasus between the Russian Federation and the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, also with militants of various Islamist groups, fought from August 1999 to April 2009. On 9 August 1999, Islamist fighters from Chechnya infiltrated Russia's Dagestan region, declaring it an independent state and calling for a jihad until "all unbelievers had been driven out". On 1 October, Russian troops entered Chechnya. The campaign ended the de facto independence of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria and restored Russian federal control over the territory.
    3. The Turkistan Islamic Party (TIP) or Turkistan Islamic Movement (TIM), formerly known as the East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM), is an Islamic extremist organization founded by Uyghur muslim jihadists in westernmost Xinjiang province of People Republic of China, considered broadly as a terrorist group. Its stated goals are to establish an independent state called "East Turkestan" in Xinjiang. According to a Chinese report, published in 2002, between 1990 and 2001 the ETIM had committed over 200 acts of terrorism, resulting in at least 162 deaths and over 440 injuries. The UN Security Council Al-Qaida Sanctions Committee has listed ETIM as a terrorist organization since 2002.
    4. There are many separatist groups working in Kashmir valley of Jammu-Kashmir UT of India, Examples--Lashkar-e-Taiyaba, Jaish-e-Mohammad, Hizb-ul- Muzahiddins etc.
    5. The Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF; Arabic: جبهة تحرير مورو الإسلامية‎) is a group based in Mindanao, Philippines seeking an autonomous region of the Moro people from the central government of Philippines. The group has a presence in the Bangsamoro region of Mindanao, the Sulu Archipelago, Palawan, Basilan, and other neighbouring islands in Philippines.
    6. The Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA), also known by its former name Harakah al-Yaqin (Faith Movement) is a Rohingya insurgent group active in northern Rakhine State, Myanmar. According to a December 2016 report by the International Crisis Group, it is led by Ataullah abu Ammar Jununi, a Rohingya man who was born in Karachi, Pakistan, and grew up in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Other members of its leadership include a committee of Rohingya émigrés in Saudi Arabia. Its goal is to seccede from Burma and/Or possibly to merge with Bangladesh.

Some Prophets and Messengers of Islam according to Quran:---
Era of Abraham and Ishmael (Around 1813 BC- 1644 BC)::-- In Judaism, Abraham is the founding father of the covenant of the pieces, the special relationship between the Hebrews and God; in Christianity, he is the prototype of all believers, Jewish or Gentile; and in Islam he is seen as a link in the chain of prophets that begins with Adam and culminates in Muhammad. The Quran states that Ibrahīm (Abraham), together with his son Ismāʿīl (Ishmael), raised the foundations of a house that is identified by most commentators as the Kaaba. God had shown Abraham the exact site, very near to the Well of Zamzam, where Abraham and Ishmael began work on the Kaaba’s construction in around circa 1800 BCE. After Abraham had built the Kaaba, an angel brought to him the Black Stone, a celestial stone that, according to tradition, had fallen from Heaven on the nearby hill Abu Qubays. According to a saying attributed to Muhammad, the Black Stone had “descended from Paradise whiter than milk but the sins of the sons of Adam had made it dark”. The Black Stone is believed to be the only remnant of the original structure made by Abraham. After placing the Black Stone in the Eastern corner of the Kaaba, Abraham received a revelation, in which God told the aged prophet that he should now go and proclaim the pilgrimage to mankind, so that men may come both from Arabia and from lands far away, on camel and on foot.
Ishmael (Ismā‘īl)::-- Ishmael (Born in around 1785 BC) is the figure known in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam as Abraham's (Ibrahim) son, born to Hajar (Hagar=wife of Abraham). In Islam, Ishmael is regarded as a prophet (nabi) and an ancestor to Muhammad. He also became associated with Mecca and the construction of the Kaaba.
Isaac (Isḥāq) :-- Isaac (Born in around 1795 BC) is recognized as a patriarch, prophet and messenger of God by Muslims. As in Judaism and Christianity, Islam maintains that Isaac was the son of the patriarch and prophet Abraham from his second wife Sarah. Muslims hold Isaac in deep veneration because they believe that both Isaac and his elder half-brother Ishmael continued their father's spiritual legacy through their subsequent preaching of the message of God after the death of Abraham.
    Lut::--
Also known as Lot in the Old Testament, is a prophet of God in the Quran. According to Islamic tradition, Lot was born to Haran (Elder brother of Abraham) and spent his younger years in Ur (In southern Iraq of Mesopotamia) migrating to Canaan (Present Israel, Palestine, Labnon, and Coastal Syria) with his uncle Abraham. He was sent to the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah (Situated on the Jordan River plain in the southern region of the land of Canaan) as a prophet, and was commanded to preach to their inhabitants on monotheism and the sinfulness of their lustful and violent acts.
    Yakub (Jacob):--
Also known as Yaˈqūb ibn Isḥāq ibn Ibrāhīm (Literal: "Jacob, son of Isaac, son of Abraham"). He, born in around 1770 BC is a prophet in Islam. Muslims believe that he preached the same monotheistic faith (Oneness of God) as did his forefathers: Abraham (Ibrahim), Isaac (Ishaq) and Ishmael (Ismail).
In the Hebrew Bible, the Twelve Tribes of Israel descended from the 12 sons of the patriarch Jacob (who was later named Israel) and his 2 wives, Leah and Rachel, and 2 concubines, Zilpah and Bilhah.
As in Christianity and Judaism, Islam holds that Jacob (Yakub) had 12 sons, each of which would go on to father the 12 Tribes of Israel. 12 sons of Yakub were the eponymous ancestors of the tribes of the Israelites. Yusuf is believed to have been the 11th son of Yaʿqūb. The Quran further makes it clear that God made a covenant with Jacob (Yakub) and Jacob was made a faithful leader by God's command. His grandfather (Ibrahim), father (Ishaq), uncle (Ismail), son (Yusuf) and himself are all prophets of Islam.
    Yusuf::--
Yūsuf ibn Yaʿqūb ibn Isḥāq ibn ʾIbrāhīm is a prophet mentioned in the Qurʾān, and corresponds to Joseph (son of Jacob), a person from the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible), the Jewish religious scripture, and the Christian Bible, who was estimated to have lived in the 16th century BCE. Of all of Jacob's 12 children, Joseph was the one given the gift of prophecy. Yusuf is believed to have been the eleventh son of Yaʿqūb (Jacob). Jacob had 12 sons who were the eponymous ancestors of the 12 tribes of the Israelites.

Origin of Animal Qurbani in Islam:
    1. Islam traces the history of sacrifice back to Abel and Cain (Habil and Qabil), whose story is mentioned in the Qur'an. Abel was the first human being to sacrifice an animal for God. Ibn Kathir narrates that Abel had offered a sheep whilst his brother Cain offered part of the crops of his land. The ordained procedure of God was that a fire would descend from the heavens and consume the accepted sacrifice. Accordingly, fire came down and enveloped the animal slaughtered by Abel thus accepting the sacrifice of Abel while Cain's sacrifice was rejected. This led to jealousy on the part of Cain resulting in the first human death when he murdered his brother Abel. After not seeking repentance for his actions, Cain was not forgiven by God.
    2. Ibrahim's sacrifice- The practice of qurbani can be traced back to prophet Ibrahim, who dreamt that God ordered him to sacrifice his most precious thing. Ibhrahim(swh) was in a dilemma as he couldn't determine what was his most precious thing. Then he realized it was his son's life. He had faith in God's command. He let his son know the purpose why he was taking his son out of their home. His son Ismail agreed to follow God's command, however, God intervened and informed him that his sacrifice had been accepted. And replaced his son with a sheep. sacrifice itse From that day onward, every Eid al-Adha once a year, Muslims around the world slaughter an animal to commemorate Ibrahim's sacrifice and to remind themselves of abnegation.
So the Qayamat (Day of Judgement) is a pure fiction (कल्पना).
At one side it is said that Quran was revealed by Allah himself but still the first word of the book starts with Bismillah (In the name of Allah). This proves that it is human book.
When it is said that Allah doesn’t have any form then how can he recite the verses.
All the verse of the book are limited to the lives of this prophet and to the challenges of desert country. How can such book be a book for entire human civilization.
If Allah has created the universe then how can he ask people to kill those who did not believe in the idea of this prophet or who have left the Islam (I.e. Apostate). Doesn’t he have power to let everyone realise their mistakes and start following him. Why he needs to kill non believers ? Does this mean that non-believers are Allah’s mistakes ? If yes, then how is he almighty and powefull who does such a huge mistake where billions are still non believers ?
PS : Idea here is not to hurt anybodies sentiments rather bring up rational and logical questioning. I have same question for other religions also who believe in limited idea of God.

What is he trying to say exactly? That Sikhism was influenced by Islam? If that's the point of the videos, then all religions are. Is there another point I missed to say Islam is more "true" than Sikhism?

One sect of religion and another sect of religion is not to be spoken about. What makes the difference is practical and emotional influence. I believe only Christianity explores this fully. There are not alot of Christians promoting or speaking about other faiths. This is because faith is to guide one to God not boast on knowing about ones faith. Everyone acknowledges Christianity, but Christianity acknowledges no other faith but depends on leading people to the truth.

    Protection from DAJJAL/ANTI-CHRIST
    ❌👁❌
Abu Darda reported: The Prophet ﷺ said, “Whoever memorizes ten verses from the beginning of Surat al-Kahf will be safe from the Anti-Christ/DAJJAL/False Messiah.”
In another narration, the Prophet ﷺ said, “From the last ten verses of Surat al-Kahf.”
    Reference: Sahih Muslim 809
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) taught a particular du’a to be read at the end of the Salah after finishing at-tashahud:
    اَللَّهُمَّ اِنِّي اَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَمِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيْحِ الدَّجَّالِ
“Allaahumma inni a’oodhu bika min ‘adhaab jahannam wa min ‘adhaab al-qabri wa min fitnat il-mahyaa wa’l-mamaat wa min sharri fitnat al-maseeh al-dajjaal”
“O Allah I seek refuge in you from the punishment of hell, the torment of the grave, trial of living and dying, and from the evil trial of the Antichrist”
    Reference: Bukhari 1/202 & Muslim 1/412

As a Sikh, I would say the main reason for starting new religion was- Guru Nanak who was born into a Hindu family, rejected the religion and didn't wear cotton thread (Janau) and also spoke against idol worship or considering any devi-devta a god. Not only this Guru Sahib denounced the practice of Sati, untouchability, and Cast system which is the core concept of Sanatan as per religious text (Manu Samriti & Upanishads). He gave a message to worship only that which is not in any form and doesn't take birth or die. On the other side, Guru Sahib also denied the fact that the person who will consider Mohammad a messenger will go to heaven and said a person who believes in Akal Purakh will attain heaven/moksha.

@@alphaff9939below are from Guru Amardas ji words in page 787 (Granth Sahib:
Do not call them 'satee', who burn themselves along with their husbands' corpses.
O Nanak, they alone are known as 'satee', who die from the shock of separation (from the Lord). ((1))
They are also known as 'satee', who abide in modesty and contentment.
They serve their Lord, and rise in the early hours to contemplate Him. ((2))
The widows burn themselves in the fire, along with their husbands' corpses.
If they truly knew their husbands, then they suffer terrible bodily pain.

Whether their husbands are alive or dead, those wives remain far away from them. ((3))
