- Love some magical girl anime? Ever seen "Go! Princess Precure!"? It's a wholesome one for sure. I made Cure Flora for the World Cosplay Summit 2018 in Nagoya, Japan. It's not a costume I pull out regularly but I really REALLY love it. Over 400 hours of labour went into this cosplay and in terms of cost... well, just don't ask that one okay? wink :)

400 hours to make this cosplay...
Cure Flora, you'd better appreciate the effort and craft of this woman!!
Thank you so very much ^_^
I think she probably would if she knew Kirilee!
This is such a beautiful cosplay I don't know o the character or what she's from but this is absolutely beautiful I hope one day I can construct beautiful garmants like this
Thank you so much. It was a long slog to get to this cosplay completed but I learnt so much.
Wow, I would never have thought of buckram 🤔 I think I have a costume that would benefit from this...
Good luck with it!
This overdress is fantastic! Really inspiring work 😍
Thank you so much!
Yooo! I love Precure!!!
It’s a wholesome series!
ME TOOOOO AHAHSBEIWUWJOQKXXNDBEJEIKCMCNDJSS
Oh man, that is the level of cleanliness I aspire to when finishing the interior of my cosplays, it's hard! And I will totally be looking into buckram now for "bullshit anime pleats".....
Hahaha I love that description! And thank you so much for your kind words
@@KirileeCosplay I haven't worked with buckram before but I'm assuming there are different levels of "flexibility" to it (like with interfacing), so can I ask what "level" of flexibility this buckram had? (so I can use it as a bit of a mental reference when experimenting for future cosplays) Thank you!
I can’t wait for the 18th century jigglypuff video! However I *LOVE* these “dress up” tipe videos! Keep up the great job!
Thanks!
So cute💗 the love you put into this project really shows, stunning build!
Thank you so very much!
I didn’t know you did WCS?! I’m close to the Master title & have been thinking about it, it’s sooooo much work though 😭😭😭😭
I did :) don’t go into WCS lightly. Yes it it lots of work, but what I learnt (a little too late) is don’t lose the fun. It’s tough but worth it
@@KirileeCosplay you is so beautiful princess cure Flora 😍

Talk about a lockdown project... And to think I was just making bread! 😂
Jokes aside this is absolutely fabulous!
Hahaha why thank you!
This is an awesome cosplay! I’ve been trying to find a cure Flora wig for so long and I may make one!
Nice! Good luck with it!
Wow you really look good in your cosplay
Thank you so much for those kind words
This is so cool and absolutely beautiful ❤️ The buckram(?) idea is so neat too, definitely using it in the future! :D
Thanks so much! It will make the fabric feel like armour though, be warned lok
Kirilee Cosplay
That’s perfect and good to know actually, most of my current cosplays are considered armor (MHW) anyways and aren’t fabric like, so it works out 😆
Good luck! I would say play around with it a bit ^_^
I can’t believe I just found this! This is amazing!
Thank you very much :)
Awesome😍😍😍
Thank you!
Ive been thinking about making a Glitter Ace cosplay and I'm thinking if I make it would wear the dress to school
Do what makes you happy ^_^
Kirilee this was awesome! I'd love to see you do one of the transformation outfits from Pretear, there's lots to choose from and her final outfit is gorgeous. If you haven't watched it you may need some tissues.
I’ll keep it in mind!
I’m going to show this to my sister she loves precure
Groovy!
I still remember watching you on the WCS stream. 😍
AHHHHHH SO MUCH LOVE! Xoxo
I never worked with buckram(is that how it's spelled?) before. Is it hard or is it easy. Do you have a video working with it anything like that.
It isn’t too hard to work with however it does get a bit tricky when doing curves with it
I would love to see the elegant mode for this but thid still such a pretty cosplay 😁 i would love to do cure mermaid and 400 hrs??? Just wow
Thank you
Wow ❤🎊🎉💫
Thanks
How long did it take
9 months and 400 hours of labour.
It also has a quick change ball gown skirt that is included
I can't imagine how many hours would it take if you made elegant mode
400 hours all together. Because I did it. :) I just showed the short version here but the skirt is packed away
:0
Thanks
