You are so lucky Spotlight have you the fabric! Fabric is so expensive in Australia. The dress turned out beautifully!! I actually did a photoshop design of this dress on my channel and it’s one of my favourites! Btw love your voice overs haha!

How did you figure out the shape for your overskirt? Is it just a circle skirt that goes up in the middle?
It is the skirt pattern that was modified
beautiful! may i know how you joined the lining to the strength layers and then to the fashion fabric? was it just by joining the right side of the of the lining to the wrong side of the strength layers and then to the wrong side of the fashion layer?
also, how did you finish off the seams at the top of the bodice? did you use bias tape? thanks!
I sewed it as a sandwich between the fashion layer and the lining with the strength layer. I then hand sewed on the piping because I forgot to add it earlier.

Zipper
I love the look of a full circle skirt, but, yes, I have to cut them out on the floor, as my cutting table is way too small. As I get older, it just gets harder and harder ☹️ to get down, and back up.
It is a real pain. And sometimes, the floor isnt the cleanest!

I am actually planning a diy Aurora own design dress later this year (August ish) and have been toying with doing the same with Cinderella. So, stay tuned! Not their redesign I don’t think though- I will check it out though
