You Get Me Warriors MAP - Part 11 [For Sad-Machine]

A Winnie-the-Pooh styled Mousefur and Longtail, being best buds and enjoying a lovely day together.

I tried some new things with this one - if it's not obvious, I put my emphasis on character designs and especially on background painting for this part, rather than animation. :) The MAP doesn't have a specific style guide, so Sad-Machine was kind enough to let me experiment! And for a MAP about friendship, something in the style of Winnie-the-Pooh seemed like a match made in heaven. (Plus I fell in love with the idea of Longtail with missing button eyes and a knotted rope tail.) Mimicking the style of inking and watercolor paint from Winnie-the-Pooh turned out to be a lot of fun as well, and I'm really happy with that tree!
Big thanks to @frostewyrm - I had to finish this video yesterday due to other commitments, but was feeling like I was hit by a truck and barely able to draw or paint. Froste very kindly hopped in to finish up the coloring on the characters for me. Absolutely saved my life and this part.

Oh my goodness, the details in character design and the Winnie-the-Pooh style is killing me! Mousefur looking like a little sewn mouse, Longtail having that rope tail and no buttons for eyes and the little fluff coming out of his ear, I love it all! The background is so soft and I really feels like I’m reading something out of a story book! Such an cute moment between the two characters, really solidified their friendships and the designs are honestly inspiring me so much!

This has got to be one of the most wholesome MAP parts I’ve ever seen! I just finished watching the MAP, and this and the part before it particularly caught my eye! Mousefur and Longtail look so sweet in your style!
