I won’t lie rn. I work at a beauty store currently and we don’t have testers available in our drug store part of the store- so these videos honestly give me a lot of great feedback for guests who are looking for recommendations lol I love it. Lash Blast has been a friend of mine for a long time!

Apparently most prisons in the Us and Canada use covergirl brand makeup for female inmates to buy in canteen, I really love that! You'll literally see that orange tube of mascara everywhere in female prison dorms lol
I think they mention that Laverne Cox's character uses the pressed powder on OITNB. Or I just assumed it was CG because of the packaging.
Idk why the idea of women inmates using CG makes me want to cry.

@@Person1865 Why? It's universal and affordable. What should make you "want to cry" is that prisoners do not get basic human dignity items such as soap. They are not allowed to buy anything but processed junk food, because canteens have contracts with food conglomerates so they likely wont taste a vegetable the entire time they're in jail. The most nutritious food they can buy is literally ramen. This is not to mention they have to buy everything out of pocket so inmates with no family can not afford soap nor food, they don't feed you enough in prisons and some states like TX will cut meals as "budget cuts" so no dinner/lunch, as well as feeding prisoners expired rancid inedible food in a lot of documented cases. Not sure about if they are provided tampons or pads but considering that they don't give them soap (even during outbreaks like 2020) I doubt it. They're jamming cotton wads up there...that makes me cry.
Not trying to shame you but you should get involved if you really care, most people don't actually know this stuff or care tbh but ik you were probably just saying it. I am involved in prisoner advocacy and it's important but overlooked. It should make everyone want to cry human beings are being treated this way.

i wouldnt mind seeing a full face of juvia's. i mean we all know the shadows are exquisite and i love the way they did their lip collection. it feels more about offering a range of color rather than trends. their new liquid liner almost defeated my cleansing oil. but i never see anyone do full face or specifically the skin makeup.

The colors for foundations and concealers were always the big draw for my friends in college! there were neutral, yellow, and pink toned options so your choice wasn't just light to dark. And the lack of fragrance means a little bit of a chemical smell but lack of breakouts/allergy made up for it

Covergirl recently went through a rebrand (and is cruelty free now!) and I’ve been loving a lot of their products now. That concealer rules, and the “clean” (yes, marketing BS) version of Lashblast is great for like a soft no-makeup makeup day. Oh and the bb cream things!

That “chemical smell” is Noxema. Cover Girl smells like Noxema. 😆 I was on a lot of dermatologist treatments a few years ago, and he very, very highly recommended Clinique too, so there’s that.

I work at shoppers drug mart(Canadian here 🍁). The amount of thieves that come in and linger, for sometimes up to 2 hours, before they literally clear out an entire shelf of fragrance, is INSANE!!
