Trixie is, perhaps, the only person to LOVE makeup more than my mum, who passed away on Saturday at the age of 97. Glamorous to the end, her nurse said that while every other patient asked for their emergency buzzer, mum constantly asked for her lipstick, which she would apply flawlessly without a mirror!💋
So cute. Reminds me of my grandma who I went to see in the hospital before she passed, she was weak, on dialysis, had bad vision, and what did she say? "Is that a new coat you were just wearing just now? Is it wool?" Lmao, and according to a nurse she would make sure the people helping her get dressed in her lounge suits were picking out the right pants-sweater combo, absolute style icon until the very end
My aunt just passed on Tuesday...and she also loved makeup and glamor and all that. (I always joked that she was the best dressed one at my wedding...me included!) Just to keep my mind from going to the worst places, I've been playing Trixie's videos in the background while I'm working. Just realized that the last gift my aunt bought me (for this past Christmas) was the eyeshadow palette Trixie is using here. She said "Since all we see of each other nowadays is our eyes, I thought some funky eyeshadows would be fun!"

MAC Shivering White. Its not a setting powder, its more like a pure white powder foundation. Its very opaque so I guess I, personally, would consider it a matte white eyeshadow.

Urban decay’s stay naked concealers work sooo well for dry skin. They have a “pure white” shade that they call a “customizer” instead of concealer, and I use it for SO much. I mix it with others or use it on its on.
I like the stay naked foundation a lot, too. Their undertone and shade options in both foundation AND concealer are awesome.
Also love their naked liquid(“fluid”) highlighter in “sin”, if anyone who likes a beautiful, naturalish, dewy glow instead of a beaming, obvious, glittery highlight
