And I am certainly not making music to promote myself but to spread the joy and beauty of music and the classical guitar. That said I think I have the ''right'' to be amazed and feel humbly inferior when I hear this (and other good performances by others). I believe that the first interpretations of Tango were either played with or accompanied by a guitar. I have heard many songs recorded by Carlos Gardel with a background of only guitars. . Mt Villalobo makes a great interpretation with his art. Thanks for sharing

@Tapiola2007 agree, but being from Argentina and having listened to tango from a very early age does entitle me to a somewhat above average knowledge on the matter. Specially when it comes to this particular song, for the over populated variety of artist that have played it. relevant or not, I have to say that this is certainly one of the best interpretation I have heard
@troila Desde principios del siglo XX hasta mas o menos los 40 los cantores de tango solian acompañarse con guitarras. Si te interesa el tema no tenes mas que escuchar cantar a Carlos Gardel que tiene muchisimos tangos con guitarras y muchas veces con ropas de gaucho argentino.
@Dolphingabi I am sure he does this rubato on purpose in order to make the piece more dynamic and interesting. It's a part of his style if you see other clips of him.
