I reaaaallly needed to hear your story! I’m at NICU fresh new grad and have the worst post shift anxiety and have been dreaming about going back to adults but was scared it would be worse
Aw I’m so glad to hear could help, but very sorry you feel that way. Trust me I know!! People also don’t understand bc the NICU is such a dream for most. I would say possibly give it time to give yourself a chance to adjust, but if the feeling doesn’t go away, trust yourself and do what you think is best. It’s definitely scary and a chance to take but I am so so glad I did. I’m much happier.
