I taught my son to cook simple meals, his laundry, housework and be a handyman when he was about 12yo. He is 22yo now and serving 2yrs of army/nation service.

I have been cooking for over 30 years, so I cook very well. My secret is to cook with lots of love, and in my case, mood plays a significant role in perfect results.
Omg I’ve lived on both ends and I can vouch for this! When I tried to cook on my depressive days, no matter how much I try, the food always turns out bland. On the contrary on my happy days, I use the same recipe and it turns out amazing!! So strange but true!!!
Never heard of fattoush with cauliflower, cabbage and chicken before! definitely not traditional but im intrigued, maybe will give it a try
I made the chicken dish today with one modification (inspired by Aysha Harun): I marinated the chicken pieces for 24 hours in yoghurt with lots of garlic as well as all the other ingredients you guys mentioned (and my favorite spices lol). And I made it super saucy when I cooked it and served it with rice and salad. Yummy, it's delicious. My husband keeps thanking me lol so I must thank you two! Thank you for sharing this recipe

My teta in Lebanon makes some sick sumac on her roof. She buys the plants, dries them and hammers them down to the powder. So tasty.

The beginning is just adorable mashallah! May Allah protect you both!! As a Mexican revert for the past 6 years my Palestinian mother in law has her fatoosh down! My mouth waters for it over a month piece of halal steak or cheeseburger 😏call me majnuna😂 I had to try your recipe and it’s 11:43 at night. Amazing!! I never would’ve skipped on the mint before!
