      Dude! 😂 I should've never watched at 3AM CUZ the knocking sound (i guess at 1:34) felt so real I freaked out while listening with earpods..

    Hey it’s your day, to say, “you’re welcome,” cuz thanks for sharing the different Polynesian Moana languages! Though I think I prefer Hawaiian and Māori Mauis.

      Why is that so if I may ? Is it for the music or the voice, the language maybe ?

      The voice: tbh, I don’t like any of the Tahitian voices as well as the other Polynesian ones, but language-wise, I think they have enough similarities that it wouldn’t be a factor. The Māori Maui imo is best at sounding like Dwayne Johnson’s Maui.

      The Maori one has the best voice-casting while this one is linguistically the closest to actual proto-Polynesian, which most historians agree sounded like the dialects spoken in Bora Bora and Tahiti.
