To my knowledge, Apple has not made any announcements that they intend to charge an AI subscription fee. That said, i can’t recall a time that Apple hasn’t charged for its services.Even so, I believe that a significant portion of our device purchases already reflects the cost of AI-driven features. Any manufacturer considering adding AI subscription fees to their existing offerings should be aware that such a move may result in a substantial decline in their customer base.
Pixel 9 has been the first pixel since introducing their own chips that actually feels fast. I had all the rest and I was honestly about to give up on pixel but I figured I'd get the 9 after the 8 pro I had was probably the worst phone I've ever had. Night and day difference. The only thing I'll say is that wireless charging does get this thing hot enough for some concern.
Is pixel UI lighter than Samsung’s UI, and is the overall experience better than the Samsung Ultra? I’m thinking of buying it. Currently, I have an iPhone 14 Plus.
I have the 9 pro XL and the 9 pro fold and...i gotta say that google knocked it out kf the park this year and i dont blame anyone for picking the 9 pro XL for phone of the year.
So close to ditching my 16 Pro Max for a Pixel 9 Pro XL, the only things holding me back are my Apple Watch Ultra and AirPods Pro. What would the Android equivalents of these be?
I have had iPhone since 5c came out, back then iPhone was the go to. Now I am tired of it, I had iPhone 12 Pro Max and went for the iPhone 15 Pro Max thinking I’d feel a big upgrade because of Dynamic Island and 120hz. I regret spending my money on the phone and not keeping my 12. No significant difference has happens with iPhones. I’m so tired of it that I’ll switch next year seeing what Samsung is cooking up with the 25s or google pixel 10s
I have been really curious when someone that's an apple user says they've become boring with no significant upgrades .. can you please explain ? (I'm not an apple user, by the way- just curious)
@@Palmtreeislandlover88both the pixel and s24 ultra are great phones. I know the s24 ultra has better cellular reception. I just came back from Israel and I took an iPhone 15 pro max and the ultra and iPhone had bad reception
I believe everyone’s screen froze during the fight because of the Netflix bandwidth issue. Do you do the the beta software updates? Was thinking that could be an issue maybe? Or maybe the phone is just a bad apple. No pun intended lol.
@ I have three kids, which all have iPhones and I can easily track them and watch what they do on their phones. I can limit their activity and they can send me their location if need be. Unpopular perspective im sure... I just cant with these Google phones. I keep trying them, and i almost immediately notice considerable eye strain and discomfort. I'm now dailying the s24U and the 15 PM, trying to determine which one works best for me... but the tech feel so much like splitting hairs anymore... 😅
I just got a pixel 9 pro but instead of taking the trade in incentive google has i sold my pixel 8 for 300$ and bought my pixel 9 pro in prestine condition for 500$ so far has been the best 200$ i wasted on a phone buttttt i still feel the phone get as warm as my pixel 8 from time to time in 71-75 degree sunny days

I am really interested in getting a Google pixel the problem for me is that there's no data encryption which means it's a severe like a privacy on these phone phones now if Google was gonna start encrypting data then I might consider it, it's the one thing that just puts me off
@@graham1155 I found I had to edit most Pixel pics, phone itself awesome, but my Pixel 4xl 6 Pro 7 Pro 8 Pro had better cameras, 4xl really great phone that was. I only bought the OPPO because I didn't think I could get the the VIVIO Global but I found I could hence on way. This is last time now for a year, (she says boldly)! 😂
I want an apple alternative. Used to have a pixel. While I liked the software, chipset, storage, and everything even better than apple, the build quality and physical durability made me switch to apple. Was tired of replacing android phones.
Well I finally got to try the iPhone 16 pro as well as my brother got it, and I have the pixel 9 pxl… One thing you have to admit about the iPhone, though it might be buggy, when you look at them side by side, use them side by side, the animations on the iPhone or I don’t know what it is, makes the iPhone feel more premium.. I love my pixel but there’s scope for improvement.. iPhone is surely behind in technology but they have managed to achieve almost perfection in their layout…
Im a long time iPhone user and about to switch because the operating system is shit now. So many bugs and glitches. Getting totally screwed on the 120hz refresh. More like 80
9:46 Lol! I've considered giving apple another try for the umpteenth time 🤣 idk what it is if it's the brand, or that so many people have one, or what it is that I always end up tiptoeing around the possibility of giving it another whirl... any reason why you think that is? 😊
Just ordered the Pixel 9 Pro, very excited. I tried the iPhone 16 and just couldn't stand IOS lol. Sure wish Google would adopt the fit and finish of IOS's icons. Google, please change the icons to dark when in dark mode.

Apple as well as other companies are lacking Innovation. No one is trying something out of the box like LG use to. Everyone are hard set in calling Foldables Innovation lol.
Youre not the first to say the pixel 9 pro xl is better than the iphone 16 pro max and wont be the last but i pefer i phone 16 pro max. I dunno but hating on iphones have been the new cool thing in the last few years like samsung didnt reuse their designs on their phones for the last few years but hey sheeps follows sheeps i guess.
No one phone is flat out better. But if you use all of those ai features then it's clearly a win for the pixel and also the cameras. But again ppl keep saying the iPhone is the same but that's like true for any modern phone it's kinda weird we are only saying this with apple or am i missing something
@TechOdyssey yeah Chinese phones are getting bigger sensors and all that but how many ppl are gonna notice if they used last year's model 🤔 and Google well they were behind and the pixel 9 pro XL feels soo good because they've caught up with Google magic on top of it. Well if use the pixel 8 pro outside of the design I doubt many would say it's like a huge leap. The smartphone market has kinda reached it's peak imo
I have both and the iPhone is better. The pix is still buggy.... and pics are the same.. so depends on the phones your friends have...iPhones work best with other iPhones. and depreciation is massive on pixel phones. Apple's can be sold years later and still almost get all your money back on ebay...
@@rez157 How pixel is still buggy? Under what condition? Why would I sell my phone after years? Who will buy an old used phone? And new phones are almost the same price and better?
Every phone including iphone when you sell second hand even just after you get from the store you will never be able to sell at the price which you bought. That is how second hand market work, it doesn't make sense buying second hand phone same price as brand news,I would rather buys from the store brand new in box sealing..
@@Xauming also trade in prices are better on apple also. I try all phones and like all of them.. just saying the facts about selling or trading in a phone. I will get the s25 ultra, and try it out. as long as spectrum gives a good promotion deal.
Ok i have them both the pixel and the iphone and look the pixel is very good but ifeel like my iphone is more premium, the feeling of the camera app and much more stuff, feel less quallity with my pixel, itry so much to love my pixel because the selfie is better but ijust cant it feels like more cheap phone then my iphone, the zoom very laggy on pixel , the sides of the phone to much shiny like a toy loll, but the iphone overall feels more premium to me but sure it got lots bugs in the software, and now nobody almont talk about it, the screen got problem of electric spark whenever you turn on the phone from lock screen, its bad very bad loll. So i think its matter of price now. But you cant wrong with any of those phones, comment from iphone 16 pro max. Continue the good stuff as always 😊
The problem is not what the pixel is now. The challenge will be how this will age considering the pixel chip is already under powered. I have yet to see a long term user review video of the pixel which talks about it in a positive light. 7 years uodate is a long time which is great but again only time will tell if the hardware is able to handle it years down the line. The iPhone on the hand will handle the years of OS update.
I agree. People don't look at it long term. Galaxy S21 phones for example are still good to use. Whereas the pixel 6 is not a good phone to get with all the issues it has when it came out. Using the older pixel now with it slower and already weak CPU makes it a waste to use. Imagine the pixel 9 in 2 or 3 years. Resell value will be bad and probably not worth using it. Over 1000 for the pixel 9 pro xl....where is the value in that long term?
@ the pixel is already slower than the 8 gen 2 and A18. It won’t age well and pixels are not known for being long term shelf life. Apart from design the pixel is not that much better than the 8 pro , forget comparing it to the iPhone. I have an iPhone XS and even after all these years it’s still smooth and reliable. My dad has an s21 and even that has aged well. Not sure the pixel will but I hope it does and Created a good trend going forward
To those of you who own a Pixel, I mean, the software tends to get better with Pixel phones. Now, there are people who are still on the six and sevens and eights that feel as if their devices are just as snappy as they were the first day they got them talking about phones that are three or four years old. That means sure, some people may hold on to their phone for ten years, but no phone is going to age that well after ten years; technology just keeps moving. Not only that, but Pixel devices are already ahead of the game in AI. Everyone is shuffling and shifting gears and trying to figure out how to catch up to Google AI on the Pixel phone, and Apple's rendition of it is an absolute joke. By the time they catch up, which probably will never happen, it will be time to get a new Pixel phone.
@chillywill95831 AI....most people don't even use it daily. Even though the pixel 9 has improved somewhat, they have been known for mediocre battery life, slower charging speed, bad antenna modem and buggy software. It is sad that they are the bottom of these fundamental categories that are important in a smart phone. I don't care much for altering pictures or allowing ai assistance to do things when half of the time they got it wrong anyway. Most people worry more about battery life, their text and call gets through and what's on you tube or tik tok and Instagram. The pixel is not known for having the best camera anymore. I have own every pixel since pixel 2 and I have return or sold it within a few months because I was frustrated with it. Granted my pixel 9 pro xl is an improvement but the s24 plus is my most used phone of the year. I have the s24 ultra also. 3 phones that I used and I always come back to the s24 plus.
@@chillywill95831 True , but I think there is a lot of hype given to AI. True Google will be ahead since they have been using AI longer but in the long run that wont be the deciding factor. If the hardware is supposed to get updates for 7 years and if 2nd gen phones are already not able to handle then no amount of AI is going to make it better.
Strangely no one talks about overheating issues with all Pixel line ups which in turn impacts battery and durability in long run .. no cares about benchmarks until you see that good benchmarks phones are the ones more durable !!
Nobody is talking about it because it isn’t happening. Maybe previous models - which have been discussed extensively. I’ve had no heat issues and I’ve treated all four of the new Pixel 9 series phones. Tensor 4 is solid. Benchmarks are a joke.
If Google keeps building on this momentum and promises of updates and security patches they’re going to be a problem in a good way.

Any manufacturer considering adding AI subscription fees to their existing offerings should be aware that such a move may result in a substantial decline in their customer base.
Waiting for the 10 Pro XL… should be the beast it deserves a Pixel to be!
You are right, we are tired of iPhone!
We are all tired of iPhone
Pixel 9 has been the first pixel since introducing their own chips that actually feels fast. I had all the rest and I was honestly about to give up on pixel but I figured I'd get the 9 after the 8 pro I had was probably the worst phone I've ever had. Night and day difference.
The only thing I'll say is that wireless charging does get this thing hot enough for some concern.
Pixel is better than the pro max 100% the smaller pro models its another story
My Oneplus 10 pro also had 4k120. Not really sure why the phones i've had since ( Oneplus 11 and now Pixel 9 pro XL ) doesn't have it.
I got both but but I feel more user friendly with iPhone and feels way more strong but I love pixels screen
I like what you said. The iPhone 16 is a Beta product. Also driving through Texas to get donuts 🍩 at 4:00 am is a GOATED move!!!
I repping the Pixel bro I love it!
Good choice
Go with pixel because IOS 18.1.1 is HELL
It’s 💩
@ t mobile can’t fix it so they said get a new phone the same for a few bucks, but why did they have to destroy my phone? This shit is a headache
Is pixel UI lighter than Samsung’s UI, and is the overall experience better than the Samsung Ultra? I’m thinking of buying it. Currently, I have an iPhone 14 Plus.
I say go for it. I enjoy using both my Pixel 8 pro and Pixel 6. The Pixel 9 pro XL is even better.
I have the 9 pro XL and the 9 pro fold and...i gotta say that google knocked it out kf the park this year and i dont blame anyone for picking the 9 pro XL for phone of the year.
The pixel is better I'm never going back
But now just imagine a pixel 9 pro xl with an 8 gen elite instead of a tensor 😮
Theyre really gonna hit stride with pixel 10 and 11.
Nice video
Thank you!
So close to ditching my 16 Pro Max for a Pixel 9 Pro XL, the only things holding me back are my Apple Watch Ultra and AirPods Pro. What would the Android equivalents of these be?
Pixel watch 3 and Buds Pro2
The hottest phone right now is the Samsung fold 6 in my opinion and I have iPhone 16 pro max.
Lots of people feel that way
Is it better than the Samsung s24 ultra?
Good question. Answer very soon
I have both and it all depends. The pixel 9 pro xl is an iPhone in android. The s24 ultra is on a different league
@maverickmig211 that's a great explanation 👏
@@Palmtreeislandlover88both the pixel and s24 ultra are great phones. I know the s24 ultra has better cellular reception. I just came back from Israel and I took an iPhone 15 pro max and the ultra and iPhone had bad reception
I personally think Google finally beat Samsung this year!!!
I believe everyone’s screen froze during the fight because of the Netflix bandwidth issue. Do you do the the beta software updates? Was thinking that could be an issue maybe? Or maybe the phone is just a bad apple. No pun intended lol.
Oh please 😅
@ what do you mean?
Pixels number 1 in pictures or overall? Cuz overall its the galaxy forsure
I agree but when the whole family uses iPhones it’s impossible to switch over to the pixel.
Who cares?? You can still send them shit and do things on the phone 😂😂😂😂
@ I have three kids, which all have iPhones and I can easily track them and watch what they do on their phones. I can limit their activity and they can send me their location if need be. I don’t know what’s so funny I prefer android but it makes it easier when all of us had the same kind of devices.
No matter how good pixel are if only limited to other countries in my country we dont have pixel phones to risky to buy online 😂
Hopefully they continue to expand.
Coming from the Pixel 8 Pro to the 9 Pro XL and im shocked at how much new ai stuff is in this phone that wasn't in the 8 Pro.
Don't say that! Gotta start saving up... 😊 I do love my P8P though.
@@tinayu4540 actually it looks like all these showed up because i didnt have gemini on my pixel 8 🤐, i just double checked on my pixel 8 lol. Tho the camera, battery life, fingerprint scanner and modem are just a couple improvements...pixel studio is pretty cool aswell.
Been using both, I swear they're not lying when they say Pixel is the iPhone of Android world 🤷🏻♂️
I am really interested in getting a Google pixel the problem for me is that there's no data encryption which means it's a severe like a privacy on these phone phones now if Google was gonna start encrypting data then I might consider it, it's the one thing that just puts me off
@Mr__Anon-E-Mouse there's data encryption on google!
Idk if I should buy Apple 16 pro or go to Android
The old UK gal here, Pixel good camera but not without its issues, good selfie just sold mine for £650! Can't see me going iPhone again! 😊❤
What are you switching to?
@graham1155 I have OPPO Find X8 Pro but sending back for VIVO X200 Pro it's in way Global.
@ I’m impressed! ! You didn’t rate the pixel?
@@graham1155 I found I had to edit most Pixel pics, phone itself awesome, but my Pixel 4xl 6 Pro 7 Pro 8 Pro had better cameras, 4xl really great phone that was. Somehow now, the post processing has gone too far on 9 Pro XL, I was truly disappointed. I only bought the OPPO because I didn't think I could get the the VIVIO Global but I found I could hence on way. This is last time now for a year, (she says boldly)! 😂
@ hmm, you change phones more than me!! Good luck with the next one 😁
I want an apple alternative. Used to have a pixel. While I liked the software, chipset, storage, and everything even better than apple, the build quality and physical durability made me switch to apple. Was tired of replacing android phones.
Waiting for the S25 Ultra
The wait is almost over
Google pixel it just works iPhone it just about works 😂😂😂
lol. Yup
Agreed. All iPhone feel exact same. I’ll be giving my 16 pro max to my wife and I’ll be getting s25 ultra
That’s funny because I feel like their screen is the worst this year.
Staying with my pixel 6 pro till it 2026 or it breaks 😅
You definitely can now with longer upgrades
I love seeing these. Maybe Apple will finally get pressured and give us more than a useless button next year.
Maybe so.
Pixel is definitely better❤
Im a long time iPhone user and about to switch because the operating system is shit now. So many bugs and glitches. Getting totally screwed on the 120hz refresh. More like 80
Spot on review! Now I'm waiting to come back to this video in about an hour to see what the Apple sheep 🐑 say.... 🍿
Sit back and wait a few minutes. They’ll be here any minute. Lol.
9:46 Lol! I've considered giving apple another try for the umpteenth time 🤣 idk what it is if it's the brand, or that so many people have one, or what it is that I always end up tiptoeing around the possibility of giving it another whirl... any reason why you think that is? 😊
@@TechOdyssey😂 I'm trying not to buy into the hype for the umpteenth time 😅
@TechOdyssey Oh I am lol
@ mental illness. It’s ok though. There’s lots of good doctors out there who can help.
Apple's customer support just made me get rid of everything. Rude as hell people.
Just ordered the Pixel 9 Pro, very excited. I tried the iPhone 16 and just couldn't stand IOS lol. Sure wish Google would adopt the fit and finish of IOS's icons. Google, please change the icons to dark when in dark mode.
You'll love it. The Pixel is great.
One thing that reviewers never mention is the support from Apple is to a store. I can take your phone and fix it.
Yo estoy disfrutando mucho mi nubia Z70 ultra como teléfono secundario; mayormente para fotografía; como teléfono primario intercambio entre un iphone 16 PM y un S24 ultra; amo los smartphones ❤ haha
The decline in Apple's Quality Control and more than half a decade of stagnation is gonna make them rapidly fall apart.
You. Downhill fast
S25 ultra camera test should challenge iPhone 16 pro max in recording😮
I was fat and hungry, rich man problems 😂
Mehbeh
No one phone is flat out better. But if you use all of those ai features then it's clearly a win for the pixel and also the cameras. But again ppl keep saying the iPhone is the same but that's like true for any modern phone it's kinda weird we are only saying this with apple or am i missing something
Except it’s not true for many phones.
Here we go!! 😂
@@Xauming 2000 feedback on ebay, sorry pix and samsung loose so much, apple keeps it value better.
@@Xauming also trade in prices are better on apple also. I try all phones and like all of them.. just saying the facts about selling or trading in a phone. I will get the s25 ultra, and try it out. as long as spectrum gives a good promotion deal.
If pixel could up their game in the desktop mode i would move from Samsung.
It would be nice
If the hardware is supposed to get updates for 7 years and if 2nd gen phones are already not able to handle then no amount of AI is going to make it better.
iPhone does not "just work" camera is not great always. It's iMessage isnt perfect always. U get locked and cant do alot of stuff
Bro no way I'm giving up battery life to get a pixel that's the same price as an iPhone
You must not know much about either of their battery life’s
Battery life on the pixel 9 pro xl is great
Strangely no one talks about overheating issues with all Pixel line ups which in turn impacts battery and durability in long run .. no cares about benchmarks until you see that good benchmarks phones are the ones more durable !!
Nobody is talking about it because it isn’t happening. Maybe previous models - which have been discussed extensively. I’ve had no heat issues and I’ve treated all four of the new Pixel 9 series phones. Tensor 4 is solid. Benchmarks are a joke.
I hope they make a pixel flip
I was just thinking that the other day
Pixel 9 is better than iPhone 16?? Say no more
