Civil Engineer for a construction company here. Just wanted to say that these sets of videos are great and very useful for the younger folks joining the construction industry. Looking forward to sharing some of these videos with them. Hopefully you touch on some PM topics in the future.
Absolutely, I've got around 40-50 videos in my queue to get through for the basic videos, but plan to sprinkle in PM videos along the way. Then I'll get a little more into advanced topics later down the road
I want to express my sincere gratitude for the incredibly informative video you've shared on construction management. Your content has been an invaluable resource, and I believe it deserves recognition on a much grander scale. Your video provided a comprehensive understanding of the various facets involved in construction management. It's a goldmine of information for both aspiring professionals and those already established in the field. Your dedication to sharing this knowledge is highly appreciated. What I particularly appreciated in your video was your ability to simplify complex concepts. Your clear and concise explanations made it easy for viewers to grasp the intricacies of construction management. The practical insights you offered are incredibly valuable. From project planning and scheduling to budgeting and risk management, your video covered a wide range of topics, giving viewers a well-rounded view of the subject. The real-world examples and case studies you included illustrated the practical application of construction management principles. This added depth and authenticity to your video, making it even more informative and engaging. Your presentation style, including the use of visuals, diagrams, and charts, further enhanced the learning experience. It made the content visually appealing and easier to follow, ensuring that viewers stayed engaged throughout the video. I also appreciate the way you encouraged questions and engagement from your viewers. This fosters a sense of community and learning, where people can seek clarification and share their own experiences and insights. In conclusion, your video has been a tremendous asset to anyone interested in construction management. I can't thank you enough for your effort, expertise, and dedication to creating such valuable content. I'm looking forward to more of your videos and the knowledge they'll undoubtedly bring. Once again, thank you for your excellent work, and please keep the informative content coming.
Again, thank you for the time and thought that goes into your comments. I appreciate reading them and yes - the goal is to foster a community of learning within the construction industry which is starting to come together. I'm seeing more and more construction educational content come out which is awesome.
Thanks for these videos, I'm studying for the Architect Registration Exam and they are super helpful! Minor correction though, if you are using the AIA documents the Contractor prepares the punch list, not the architect. (A201-2017 section 9.8.2). NCARB really likes to ask that question for the CE and PjM exam.
Good catch. This is true by base AIA language (but can and often are amended). 99% of the time, the Contractor and Architect/Owner walk together to generate the punchlist in lieu of a two step process. Consider 9.8.3, in liue of a separate follow up inspection walk, these walks are nearly always coordinated and the Architects report combined with the contractors becomes the final punch which is why I consider the Architects report as the end-all be-all, as it incorporates their final pass.
Great video, one of the best at explaining and teaching 👍👍👍👍…keep up the great work
Thank you for dropping this comment, I appreciate you taking the time to watch the videos!
