    Wow!!! You literally just took less than a minute for me to understand the design-bid-build contract. Not gonna lie I really found that confusing in class and my professor wasn’t able to explain it in layman’s term like you did. Thanks 🙏 really appreciate your videos. It’s very insightful and informative. You helping us out a lot. I’m not gonna lie I’m trying to keep my heads up high in this industry considering I’m new to it and it’s a lot to learn but I’m willing to learn and people like you makes it a bit more easier for us. Thank you once again. God bless you

      Hey, it’s comments like this that remind me why I started making these videos and keep me going on making them. Sitting behind the camera is a one way conversation so it’s always nice to hear from the people watching. All I set out to do is to make this industry easier on those willing to learn. So thank YOU for dropping this note - keep it real, keep your head up, you’re going to do great. Cheers!

      Just consider the cost of debt when making your decision. You're resume could potentially land you into a project engineer role, maybe try applying to save some money and get hands on training?

      Great to hear! Remember to ask questions if you don’t understand something. Spend our time as a PE learning as much as you can to set you up for success later in your career.

    How Hard is it to get a construction manager position without a degree, and just field experience?

    • @planandspec
      @planandspec  9 месяцев назад +1

      It depends on the extent of field experience, project types, size of projects managed, etc. I do work with alot of people without degrees and just field experience, so it's fairly common but how easy would be dependent on prior experience and some networking. I know this isn't a cut and dry answer, but hopefully helps

      @@planandspec networking is key! Seems like every project manager job opening is requiring a degree, and previous project management experience. Anyways thanks for your videos!

      I've landed jobs early in my career where I didn't necessarily fit every check box on the application - so I'd apply regardless@@roccoarellanes8126

      You could apply to Skanska - they have an international work program (although not guaranteed) ! I've got a good friend who lives in Sweden who came to the United States through this program! Best of luck
