@@BTM866 My point exactly. Now I know the world uses 'favourite' spelling but basketball is not too popular worldwide. The only place that uses that spelling and likes basketball is Canada. Therefore OP might be Canadian. Given that he is Canadian, I concluded that he might be a raptors fan or at the very least be in good favor with the team.
I'm not a Raptors fan either but I have one of those jerseys/t-shirts you can get in the NBA Hardwood collection of T-Mac's purple raptor jersey. I also have just a regular t shirt with the big Raptor logo. To me it is the best of the crazy '90s jerseys; most of those I dislike especially the sixers set uniforms from the era, the black uniforms being the worst of the worst in pro sports.
I wish the Raptor just went back to the purple with the big Dino.

Put some respect on Damon Stoudemire's name. He was the first player to rock these being the Raptors first ever pick and he was the Rookie of the year.. He made me want one of these jerseys as a kid.

Vince Carter is the best thing that ever happened to Canadian basketball. He is the man, myth and legend himself who put Toronto and Canada on the map during the late 90's and early 2000's. They better retire that #15 and hang his number up in the rafters in the Scotiabank Arena.

I like the retro Raptors jersey because it's unique and different. I also like the purple colour they chose because purple is such a rare colour to be seen on team logo's and uniforms.

I liked that dinosaur dribbling the ball so much in my youth, I had my dad buy me a shirt. And I wasn't even a fan of the team. Most teams were wearing plain text on their uniforms that didn't appeal to me. But I respected the Raptors and Grizzlies so much for going against the grain with badass logos. The Raptors should have kept those. What they wear now doesn't hit as hard.

It’s a beautiful jersey and it’s a shame they don’t use it anymore but I do like the current red black and gold colours. Both work well.
The stripes are also in the shape of barbed wire. The only thing that could maybe contain a Raptor!
I'm glad they got over the T shirt jersey phase of a few years ago. All of those were terrible, and the players hated them.

too bad Thomas didnt stay GM for longer, Stoudamire - rookie of the year, great potential, Camby - blocking machine, McGrady - hall of fame. He should have been given more time, he was great, just like Brendan Malone would have been a great coach for years to come, people forget he was Chuck Daly's assistant with the champion Pistons for the back to back titles. Stoudamire, McGrady, Camby, Carter and who knows who Thomas might have drafted after that.

I remembering being like 6 or 7 when i first saw that logo / jersey and thought it was THE COOLEST THING ever. like which kid that age doesn't just automatically think dinosaurs are cool lmao. As i got older it started to seem cheap and obnoxious compared to the more timeless/legacy logos but now its kinda come back a bit and can be appreciated more objectively I can say. Still kinda ugly lol but can def respect it more now.

As a Raptor fan, I was not a fan of the uni and I still don’t care for it. I actually like the one VC had at the dunk contest. However, up to a day like today I see people rocking’ the Dino and the Raptor is no doubt the best mascot in the Association. Props to the T Dot.

looking back it did seem rigged. I voted Raptors in Grade 4, but the other options were ridiculously horrible - Hogs, Towers, etc. Like they made us pick Raptors. Either way, I'm glad it played out that way!
