I grew up in Raleigh, NC during the 90's so I was not too far from Charlotte. Thos jackets were huge all over the state of NC at the time. I still remember asking my parents for one way back in '94 for Christmas and got it.
Great video until they gave George Shinn a complete bailout by inaccurately saying the team left because the attendance was dwindling when in reality, the attendance was still fine but the city wouldn't build Shinn a tax payer funded arena, so they took the team away. As a diehard Hornets fan, that piece of history has gotten so twisted it's infuriating.

I vividly remember going to games with my dad as and thinking mugsy and LJ were super heroes. Heard of MJ but they literally were rockstars and have brought so much notoriety to a once sleepy little city.

The more I saw these jersey the more I like them and honestly I got the recent hornets jersey with stripes both white and teal and I got Lamelo Ball sheesh it’s fire I even my my player in 2k22 dippin in the Hornets uniform
Cool feature, I cherish my vintage early 90s Starter Hornets fan jersey with fading wordmark and team logo on the front. Purple and teal is such a good combination. As a matter of fact, I get it out of my closet right now after watching this feature.
Whats sad is that the Charlotte Hornets that exists now is not the original team. The original team is in New Orleans. The original owner of BET channel brought his own NBA team and put it in Charlotte after the Hornets move to New Orleans. It was then call Bobcats. But after the New Orleans Hornets change their name to Pelicans, the Bobcats change their name to Hornets. It's like the Seattle Supersonics original team is the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Hornets got all the original Hornets history....so the new Franchise is the old Franchise that's why they got the Bobby Phills jersey Hanging N.O gave up that history a year after Giving Charlotte the Hornets name back thanks to MJ

I remember when sports apparel was lit in the 90s especially early/mid 90s....personally loved the Heat apparel among others (A's, Duke, etc)
