Sir Adam, thank you! I appreciate you for helping us to improve our english learning.Even though I can read and understand most of the books or newspapers which are writing in english but I can not write a full sentence correctly. The reason why is that I do not have a chance to go to school,so your teaching on this yutube video will help me to know more english grammar.I hope that I will be able to write english perfectly and accurately in future by learning all these lessons.I know that we need to pay a lot of money to get < this or these> kind of lessons in many poor countries and also no one is willing to give freely their knowledge and wisdom to others without receiving money back.Thank you again for generously giving us the whole time freely and explaining us very clearly all the difficult english grammar questions.
Another interesting thing about the "whole" word, is when referring to food. Like "Whole Grain". This means it is not a refined product, the grain is used with all its parts. It's common to see Whole Milk, Whole Bread, and so forth... Apparently, whole foods are healthier...
Adam you are incredibly professional and ... you are a genius because you let me understand everything in an easy and funny way! Someone should give you the nobel prize as the best English teacher. Hugs from Trentino. Alfonso 💫

i still have little bit confused . could you guys help me ?
"whole cities " i think " whole city ".
thank you
i also have the same question like you. whole uses for singular countable noun
Also, is it true that Adam said that "all cities" means like whole cities. I think he confused. Am I right?
I think whole city cuz it’s singular and just one city. All cities mean every city. That’s what I think.
Singular or plural, grammatically it doesn't matter. Both are correct:
*The whole cities were destroyed* (The cities were completely destroyed)
*The whole city was destroyed* (The city was completely destroyed)
Jesus in Skyrim So,it will be all cities in that country.Right?
You always learn something new, no matter how easy it looks... You always come to realize that you do not know it all. Great video Adam, Thanks a lot!
is this collect."I have a test tomorrow therefor I studied the whole day."
correct* and therefore* and it will be right!!
