I have a question because watching your video helped me get the same cable for my situation and it came in today but I can't get it to 4kUHD and my Xbox series s allows me to select 4kUHD without the new cable so my question is in the video and fidelity menu for overrides are you using HDMI or auto-detect?
I saw this product on Amazon but am not sure if i should get it. Because my monitor is just 2k 144hz, and on their sales talking points it says that unless you have a 4k monitor or unless display port 1.4. Can support the 4k is not going to work for xbox series
I have a PlayStation five. I know I need help from an Xbox. I love Xbox but I got ps5 this gen lol is there a HDMI 2.0 to 2.1 adapter or converter that I can use so that I can get like? Or at least turn on the variable, refresh rate, basically, if you don’t want to use Ray dressing you use that and it still works on 4K kinda - but if I can get that , I mean I bought a PS five and 70 inch monitor and I didn’t know I needed an HDMI 2.1. I was just so happy I got everything all at once. And yea I love the picture I never had a problem, but I just want to see if I can get more cause. The cables I have are like they are like super size 2.0 but for some reason they’re not dewpointone it’s really weird certain games I can get 120 FPS but I can’t get the variable refresh rate I don’t know very weird so if I can get the 2.0 to 2.1 converter adapter I would be set for atleast another half a decade - thanks 🙏!
Please let me know, does this cable work for 1080p@240Hz?? HDR on and 10-Bit color depth at the same time?? please test in on those scenarios, thanks!!
So, I have a pc with HDMI 2.1, but my monitor has HDMI 2.0 . . .but it has a DisplayPort. My monitor can do 4k @ 144hz. Will this cable work for me? I'm currently capped at 60 hz and it makes me sad
I just brought this cable and it worked for my Xbox series x. My monitor is the LG GP83B. The variable refresh rate and auto low latency is off and can’t be turned on
It's a 4k 120hz predator monitor. I don't exactly remember the monitor name specifically. Also I'm laying down writing this and I don't wanna get up lol
BolAAzuL Newly HDMI to DP Cable dose that one support 4.4.4. chroma or the 4.2.2 or what ever the crap one is lol i wanna use the dysplay port on my video card to hdmi on my c2 evo oled
Okay so here's how it works, you can use the cord to connect your Xbox to a 4k 120hz monitor. If you want it to be 1080p I think you can make that an option for using the 2.1 hdmi cord without having the cord, but I think it still has to be a 120 htz monitor. I think anyway
@@CertainPoint THX man! My monitor just reaches 144hz on display port (in HDMI is limited on 120hz) and I wanna use a capture card to stream. I'll buy this cable and test!

Make damn sure the cord is a 4.1 version.
Love with you did with the intro 😅 I’m a big chucky fan ‼️
Does allow low latency mode work with this converter?
I stumbled upon this video because i'm looking for the opposite. I need Displayport to HDMI. Can you recommend one?
Any luck this is exactly what I need?

Think the main issue is needing a 4.1 version cable adapter. Let me know it my info is bogus.
Would this support a monitor that is 5120x1440 (49” ultrawide)? B
I’ve been trying to use this adapter but all I keep getting is a black screen. Any guesses what I’m missing here?
Is the usb part plugged in?
found how to fix it?
Could you specify the model of your monitor? thank you

I have a monitor that gets 12 bit only with the usb c input but it needs to be powered otherwise it's 8 bit but i can't find a 10ft dp to c
Does this enable vrr?
Hey i have a ps5 and i want to know if this cable will also work with 120hz with 1920 x 1080? Thanks
you wont even need this, its overkill just hdmi2.0 to dp1.4 wil be fine
Using this does it allow VRR ?
what type of monitor u have on this video
this cable not working ps5, screen showing only 1920-1080 60hz :(
same
can you get 4k 120 hz on monitor thats on 4k 60 hz and if i use a 2.1 hdmi cable 8k or 4k cable wil the hz will go up?

Did you get a answer to this ?
Or are you saying it does work with ps5 and does allow vrr

Thanks for the reply, and great video man.
Its work when i enter settings in fortnite but when i turn on 120hz my monitor automatically turning off please help ( Ps5 monitor PG258Q )
Did you find a way? I have the same monitor as you
@@gr_kboi240 There is no solution. I bought a GIGABYTE M32U screen. I recommend a screen that supports 4k
Startech has one that is more reliable than an off brand gamble.
if i have a 4k 60hz monitor and i plug the cable will i get 4k 120hz?
If your monitor isn’t capable of 120hz, then no cable is going to enable it
Might get a higher color depth possibly vrr
Thanks
is there one like this for 1440p 144 hz monitors
I bought this and my monitor says 4K 120hz now
So weird but won’t let me do 1440p 120hz

Cables are confusing and Xbox just doesn’t support the cheap stuff tbh . You want the best quality you have to pay for it is what they mean 🤣
