Thank you for having her on as between you, you both raised my biggest issues having brown skin myself, the shades of foundation out there for deeper shades are always far too yellow, yours matched perfectly! Thank you for addressing this major issue when you were developing your foundation shades! I absolutely loved the gold on her eyes and again I would be far too intimidated to wear gold on my eyes but you made it look flawless! And also thank you for addressing the fact that us women of colour do have different colour lips, something that I've been so self conscious about my whole life. And I would like to say that I have finally bought your velvet lipsticks and not only are the colours spot on but the formula is so lightweight, moisturising and completely covers the unevenness in my lip colour! After more than 10 years, I've found my perfect shade of red! Thank you, Lisa, for your inclusive makeup range and showing me that makeup doesn't have to be complicated! Sending you much love 🩷❤️🩷❤️

I injured my eye several days ago, which left me helpless, lying in the dark with my sunglasses on, thinking what to do while I wait for my eye to heal. I then thought of going again through some of your videos, this time not watching, just listening to your soothing voice. This was so therapeutic for me, Lisa! I went through your early videos, about how you started in beauty industry, I listened to some of your great launching videos where you explain your philosophy and method of searching for the right ingredients, I listened to your advice on under eye puffiness and self care, and so on and so on. I just wanted to thank you for bringing joy and colour to us in all different life situations!❤

That’s so true about skin tone. I’m Irish with a very neutral pale skin tone (porcelain sort of name), and used to work with a Nigerian girl who was very probably foundation called something like espresso. However, there was a deal at work to get our colours done and we were both the same (Deep Winter or something) and it made sense as we used to wear similar lipstick and clothes colours.

I'm amazed at how Lisa can look at a person's face like Michelangelo looked at a piece of marble and would form the most beautiful sculpture out of it.

I don’t wear lipstick too often but I do have 3 of yours, and I had watched a video that the beautiful Martina Lily who is an Australian Contant creator on RUclips, did a full face of Lisa Eldridge make up and used your lipsticks for blush and I had forgotten that you have also said that you use it that way and I tried it and loved it!
