Very useful video! Is there anything else that is more filling you can recommend prior to workout ? I usually go to the gym in the morning, and if I only eat a banana, most of the time, I get dizzy midway through the workout, but if I eat too much (like a full meal ) I feel too full :(
I’m eating low carb so I can’t have bananas or toast with jelly. I get my workout done after I wake up before I’ve eaten anything. Intermittent fasting has helped me a lot.
One of my fav snacks is half banana sliced on top of a rice cake with half a birthday cake protein bar. Depending on how much I ate I'd put the whole bar or alternate adding a little PB never a full scoop but weird I always have a great workout after this and eating PB. This snack is so yummy. ONE bar is the one I'd use for this.
What about a protein bar before a workout? I feel like a banana usually isn't enough for me when I go to workout (first thing in the morning) and I feel like I need something slightly heavier to get me through my intense workout. Thanks!
Thank you for the video. A question I have is how important is eating regarding working out in general? I’m curious about this bc I have gastroparesis and for the most part I am not hungry, haven’t eaten much, do not have any negative symptoms in regards to not eating in comparison to what’s normal and I only notice some of what might be considered symptoms of an appetite for 1 & 1/2 - maybe 2 days a month that’s connected to menstrual cycle symptoms but it’s nowhere close to normal appetite symptoms either at this time- I feel like my stomach might actually growl during this short time but it rarely does. I do suddenly begin hearing active stomach noises just prior to what I deem an appetite and I do notice my body is slightly impacted by not consuming what I normally force myself to eat and that’s not enough on those days. With knowing the above, would it be best to eat a little something b4 or after working out? Thank you
I’m off of work around 5p sometimes I don’t get home til 545pm dinner is usually between 6p-630p bed time is 10:30p-11pm when should I be getting my workout in?

If its a long workout, I personally would shake up a protein shake partway through!

I go with the classic: Oats, fruit, nuts and some quark. A tea on the side and a boiled egg.

Is it ok to have a protein shake for breakfast if you happen to not work out that day? Or will you gain weight?

Imo around 8:30 pm
1) crucified veggies like broccoli and Brussels sprouts
2)flaxseed
3) high fat foods-meat or steak and fat fried foods
4)smoothies esp gym bars
5)fast food/fried foods
Eat banana and quality carbs like toast, rice cakes, and berries

Struggling with this because I’m currently doing the 7 day hormone reset so I can’t eat banana, potatoes and other high carb foods
