Damnn man, that's a dope little nugget. Ty talking about his mentality and imprint on that 3-1 comeback as a coach saying "I made the decision to not show them film after the 3 losses but instead let them have fun at practice.. but when we won I would show them what we could do to get better with film" .. talking about a mental game, not wanting the players to see the negative and get down because there was a hard mission ahead. No way to measure how much that might have helped but it's dope insight that no one would have known without players able to get on platforms like this.
Coach Lue never forgets where he is from. In the biggest moments of his life, he never forgets us. Mexico, MO trended on Facebook and Twitter for days after the Cavs won the NBA Championship! Coach Lue is solid as a rock....the real deal!

Exactly 💯 I been a fan of this game here in Cleveland since early 80's watching with my Uncle's. I never thought I would live to see a "Title" whether NBA or NFL but I still get chills and teary eyes watching the recap of 2016🏆Huge standing ovation til this day for Coach Lue getting under Bron skin and seeing his greatness to get us that Ring💪🏽🏀
As a cavs fan this made me appreciate what he did a whole lot more. Everyone says he had the best team so he didn't need to coach however he still had to manage all of them.
This is the best basketball podcast-Q rich and D miles ask the questions that fans want to know and they get the players/coaches to give candid answers
i did not realize how heavily tied to Doc Rivers & the Celtics team he coached Ty Lue ever was. I never connected the dots AT ALL. The whole podcast was “oh shit, that’s right” moments. 🔥🔥
Crazy cuz my homie and I in the Bahamas played full court one v one to 50 or 100 and we developed so many full court and half court skills. We were that goat backcourt in our hood in the Bahamas. 97-01
I always make time to watch these Cats . Especially this episode , watch the Lakers at the Staple Center against the Hawks . Abdur Rahim was in his prime back then . Shout out to Abdur Rahim , he made the Western Conference competitive .
Another DOPE interview fellas...I really appreciate y'all asking T Lue about his time w/TMAC in Orlando. I've always wanted to hear him speak about MAC. Keep the heat coming gents..SALUTE🔥🔥💯
Would of love to here about more about the Lakers and there infamous playoff runs and Lue’s experience as a player getting traded, different team chemistry and etc. Would of loved to here more about that Cleveland team the trade for J.R and Shump. And that Boston team and how special make up of that team was. And most def LeBron and how he was to coach, more in-depth about how he motivated him. Felt like the interview jump around….. Great guest tho… I’m guessing maybe he didn’t have time… so I’ll give them benefit of the doubr

Ty Lue is what the NBA supposed to be doing hiring former players to coach, instead of saving positions for college coaches
