I was in a group home called Saint Vincent in Saginaw, Michigan in 1999 and I remember getting the chance to go watch Saginaw High vs Saginaw Arthur Hill. This was when Saginaw High had Charles Rogers and Anthony Roberson. Even though Saginaw High won, the dunks J Rich was doing were crazy! People said they could hear the cheers from miles away! Hands down one of the best times of my life. I ended up going to Michigan State the next year and met Charles Rogers and Jason Richardson. Them times just brings a huge smile to my face.
Big Shoutout to J-Rich! I wrote him one summer back when I was 9 years old and he replied with a letter that fall, it also had a invite to his Youth Camp, as well as an autographed picture... Much respect and appreciation for that love shown to a kid in Cleveland who loves basketball..! 💯🤝🫂

I remember playing I think it was in Grand Rapids against him in a tourney in 1998 and I got the chance to match up against him. Let's just say that was the hardest I'd ever had to play anyone as he gave me 37 points & 12 assists. I chipped in 19 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals but the way that man was talking to me throughout the game is what I remember because he told me what he was going to do as he dribbled up the court how he was going to score on me and actually did that bullsh*t! 🤣😂 I remember that Sag High/Authur Hill game. The dude who was recording through Access Vision local network was selling the tapes lol! True story!
