Another lesson the people who sent her with the drugs have learned: Have your mule dress more like a 'businessperson'. If you're going to go and conduct business selling machine parts or whatever, maybe tell your mule not to wear a ripped sweatshirt and leggings.

These types of parts are commonly imported from overseas. It was dumb to send someone into Australia to collect them. Just deliver the goods to the buyer. It wouldn't have raised any suspicions.

Since I am not a drug dealer/user, I do not know about the prices of drugs. But this may be the case of supply and demand. Drugs may be much cheaper in the U.S., because there are plenty of them; but they may be a lot more expensive in Australia, because there are not a whole lot of them. Another example would be the pistol. In the U.S., you could get one for less than $1,000. But if you were to, successfully, smuggle one into Taiwan, then it could fetch up to more than $10,000.
