I've only kept harlequin rasboras. I was surprised when they got bigger and developed a pink/purple sheen in the middle of their bodies. It looked so cool 😎
I've turned into a Micro & Nano Rasbora freak! My 29 gallon is pretty loaded.... emerald rasbora, galaxy rasbora, strawberry rasbora! I was torn on my last fish order between the neon green and the strawberry.... went for "color coordination" and did the strawberry with fire red cherry shrimp LOL..... Great video!
I agree rasboras are a GREAT alternative if you don't want to keep tetras. My personal faves are the Chili and lambchop Rasboras. The next nano tank I set up may have a small school of chili's.
I am going today to pick up some Chili Rasboras. Started with Pigmy Corydoras. Waiting for ages for my fish shop to get the Neon green Rasboras in stock. Looking very much forward to them.
The rasbora is Beautiful fish I love seeing them in big groups schooling. I’ve not kept them for years but think it’s about time I got a Community tank again after watching
I had watched this video in the past and stopped after learning about neon green rasboras! A year later I finally have them and now I’m back looking for some good tank mates for my Pygmy corys. I thought you would help me narrow it down but instead I have 2 more to add to the decision making!
Hello, can u tell me how many rasboras can i put in a 40L aquarium? I really like all of them, is it suitable to put 1or 2 of every rasbora in the tank?
Hello sir, loving you channel! I just got myself a fluval flex 32 gallon on sale...best schooling fish? I'm thinking rummynose tetra, maybe 20, then 2 ram and cleanup crew? Any rare super schoolers out there that would be smaller?
I’ve been a subscriber for a little while and love your content! I have a school green neon rasbora for the first time and love them, they’re beautiful and I plan on adding to the school. I’d love your opinion on a tank mate I’m considering for them. Forktail Blue eye rainbowfish (long story short I have 1 at the moment and can add more). I have a 29 gallon heavily planted with large manzanita, some shade for them as well, but they swim all over. Also a happy school of Julii Corys (I say happy because I thought they were bottom dwellers but they are all over as well). Would you have an opinion on this? If you think there would be better options I’m open to suggestions.
Hey Connie, sounds like a pretty awesome setup to me just the way it is =) Forktail rainbows can be really sensitive. I would get with a different species of rainbows like the luminatus rainbowfish.

What are some good tank mates for them
What’s a good nano fish for pH of >7.5? Mine is 7.6 and have trouble when acclimating cardinal tetras, I think due to pH.
Bravo!
I guess in a few years when I lose my tetras I will give them a go LOL.
