My favorite on the list is the Chili's. I'm going to be upgrading my little desk setup out of a Petco 3.7g Imagitarium to a standard 10gal that I got off my brother who was downsizing his total # of aquariums. I'll be moving over a single albino Cory, a handful of Amano shrimp, and one mystery snail and think a few Chili Rasbora and maybe a few CPD's would be a good choice. I plan on planting the tank so there should be plenty of places to hide if needed. I really like the Imagitarium it's just a pain to clean especially the inside of the filter compartments.

Nobody wanted these little guys so I took them home to my 75 (after quarantine). They grew up big and strong. My chili's are adorable too! I have them in a tank with 2 honey gourami and it's been a peaceful mix for over a year. Probably because the honeys are busy sparring. They never injure each other, and to my surprise they hang out together often. But the sparring is funny. I hope it stays this peaceful. Have a great day!

I just started my first real aquarium about two months ago, and have a school of 8 kubotais in a 29 gallon with a few platys. They're awesome! Super active and great color with a dark background, and they'll usually follow me to whatever side of the glass I'm on expecting food. I was actually having some trouble getting the platy to come out during feeding time because they were so shy and would run away when I got near the tank, but since adding the kubotai they seem more comfortable and just today they actually came out to eat as I was standing next to the tank. Highly recommend these guys!

I love this list. An underrated rasbora is the emerald-eye. They aren't striking with their overall color but when the iridescence of their blue-green eyes shows, they really pop. They are also a fantastic schooling fish, I would say better than any on the list---mine set the tone for the other fish as they school across my 33 gallon. Somewhat random side note that I'm not sure where it came from in my brain: I think it would be so cool if there was a tiki bar with a large (50 gallons or so) tank stocked with rasboras only (plus clean-up crew). Just seems like a cool fit.

I loved this video, and I'm in love with the tiny rasboras. I started with cramming as many fish as possible in one tank, gradually my thinking changed and I kept the trend for nano fish.
The first time I tried keeping chili rasbora, I was not successful, but in the summer 23 I decided to give them another go and bought 8, they are so beautiful that I removed the other fish and added another 8. together with the red chilli shrimp all I see is darts of red amongst the green plants. Last week I passed a pet shop and decided to stop, they had chili rasbora and I bought 4 more, once I put them in the tank I realised there was a difference, and lots of time on google and RUclips later, I concluded that my new rasbora are actually spotted rasbora, I felt like the cat who got the cream, today I went back there and bough another 3, they looked very poorly and one died pretty much right away which the shrimp decided to snack on = its the circle of life I guess....
I have another tank with dwarf emerald green rasbora
And for good measure I made another tank for galaxy rasbora
All in all I love these tiny rasbora.
I'm all about nano fish in fully planted aquariums. I even made some aquariums out of clear storage boxes lol
thanks for this video - miniature rasbore rank the highest for me.

13:57 would these fish be ok in a tank with Molly’s and dwarf clown fish?

Mollys could eat some of the smaller rasboras.

I’d like to create a 29 gallon planted rasbora tank. I’d like to add chilis, galaxy’s, and some emerald dwarf rasboras. How many would you suggest of each for a 29 gallon? I’d like to also add some Cory’s and maybe some hillstream loaches or a couple bristle nose plecos. Just looking for some stocking numbers, thanks!

I really enjoy my espi, they are colorful, active and peaceful I currently have 8 in a 20 gal with 4 pea puffers. Moderate to heavy planted tank, their color really gives life to the tank.

Our scissortails have been a pleasant surprise to our community tank. Granted not colorful, they’re fun to watch with the tail fin for its namesake.
Not sure if they’re better then the others on the list but they’re a schooling fish I’ll probably keep for a while.

Would it be okay to keep rasboras in a tank at 78 degrees? I’ve gotten mixed info online
