No plumbers tape, no jointing compound! I am not a plumber by trade but i have installed yhese for family members with no hassle. Not sure if im correct but definitely plumbers tape on the threads and olives or even jointing compound will help seal any leaks. I also do tighten my olives in b3cues they seem to grp onto the pipe better and always make a great leak free connection. Maybe a qualified plumber can verify ehat I've added. Great video anyway Mark l, helping people who can always afford tradesmen but i would advise maby some finer details and proper instructions. Dont take it to heart and keep making good videos 🙂
You should really start your video telling people your occupation and that you are not a qualified plumber and all your plumbing skills come from other diy RUclips channels. You have no idea of the chaos these videos create.

Why spoil a good chat with an installation video, seriously it is always helpful to see the SF products installed, they are sold in huge quantities.

No need for tape or paste on compression fittings, its the compression that makes them watertight.
