I’m in Australia and my best ever cleanser is from the Australian brand QV, I use QV Face Gentle Cleanser as my morning cleanse and second cleanse at night. I’ve used this for about 3 years exclusively on my dermatologist advise. Around $20 AUD for 500 mls, they recently reformulated with ceramides, now it’s a great cleanser that got better, same price now 450 mls, my skin is dry sensitive. Every chemist sells this brand so super easy to pick up and inexpensive First cleanse at night is The Ordinary Squalene Cleanser or The Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm, both work perfectly on my skin, I think I prefer TO as it fills more cosmetically elegant than TIL but my skin is very happy playing with both.

I started using the Neutrogena Stubborn Texture daily cleanser for about 2 weeks now (once a day) At first, I purged and the product exfoliated my skin. But now I see a definite improvement in minimizing the appearance of pores and the appearance of sebaceous hyperplasia. I'm thrilled. Also I started pairing it with The Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Regenerating Cream. Thanks Dr. Drey!

I have very sensitive dry skin and had to stop using the cerave hydrating cleanser as it burns my skin when it is really dry or sensitized. I've been using the Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser foaming formula for years. It hasn't dried out my skin. I also use the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Regenerating Cream.

I recently learned that Innisfree discontinued their Soybean Essence. I ordered the Round Lab Soybean serum to try replacing the essence, but it’s just not the same😢

I need a gentle/effective cleanser without any ingredients even remotely related to coconut oil (always breaks me out).
I’m also interested in the science behind endocrine disrupting ingredients often found in skin care products (i.e., how legit are the claims that using those products actually cause harm to your hormones and then roll out a whole cause-and-effect outcome for your entire body).

Mourning the loss of discontinued fav Hylamide (from The Ordinary umbrella of brands) Oil to Foaming Cleanser. It was a one-step gem. Went on like an oil and , when water added, foamed gently. A cult favorite now sadly gone forever.

Lots of k beauty oil cleansers do this.
I like the Dear Klairs Gentle Fresh Black Cleansing oil. It starts as an oil, then when you add water, it slightly foams and rinses away without a second cleanse.

Dr. Dray, Neutrogena discontinued both of my Holy Grail products. The Fresh Foaming Cleanser as well as the Oil Free Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin. I used them for years and was heartbroken when I could no longer find them. I am on my last bottle of the Fresh Foaming Cleanser now, so don’t really know what I’ll do. My skin is so sensitive and can be on the oiler side even though I am 62 years old. Do you have any suggestions? I do prefer foaming cleansers, but they have to be gentle. Thank you so much for educating us. Love you!!

I too was very disappointed they discontinued the Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser. I used this cleanser for many years. I have two bottles left. I have Vanicream facial cleanser as a backup to use when I run out but I don’t feel it gets my makeup off as well. I also tried other cleansers but they either irritated my skin or caused it to itch. I hope you find a good cleanser that you can use.

The instructions on the Isntree cleanser say to apply it to dry skin. By how it looked as you used it, it seems that you apply it to wet skin or use a lot more product than I do. Do you apply it dry or wet? Do you use one pump or two? Obviously, I’m trying this cleanser to see if it will work for my dry, sensitive skin. So far, it’s only been okay. Given all the positive reviews, I figure that I’m not having as good of an experience, because I’m not using it right. Thanks.

There are folks who apply cleansers to dry skin regardless of instructions and vice versa. Some folks just find what works best for them and their skin.

I have combo skin. Slightly oily around the t zone. Everything else is dry. Sensitive skin. Need a good cleansing routine for the New Year! Love the foaming cleanser type but have yet to find one i like. After i rinse face always feels tight no matter what i use. I follow up always with a Curel or CeraVe moisturizing cream. 60 yr old skin but told look much younger not many lines. I feel my skin is always needing moisture! Any suggestions? Happy New Year 🎊

I have oily skin and I have used the Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser foaming formula. It cleans well but doesn't dry out your skin.
